    Our team's roster against Jamaica : 1 Bus - 4 Lacroix, 18 Viator, 13 Lambourde, 14 Ictoi - 6 Auvray (c) - 17 Hanany, 19 Clavier - 20 Loval, 12 Collet - 9 Gotin

Correction! That's Loïc Loval who scored saturday, not Michaël Niçoise!

Our second goal was perfectly valid because a defender of Guyana was leaning against the post! So there wasn't offside!

Correction, the number 4 is Lupède not Lacroix!

I don't know what the commentators see in Byers, but today he's blown two clear opportunitites to score. Not to say that the Golden Jags have been much better, though - I've lost count of the shots off-target.

Guys, Antigua leading by one goal to none. It's Gregory who score in the 69th minutes.

They've been that way for most of the game. Guyana only started passing the ball on the ground in the second half; Antigua has been doing it for much more of the game. It would be best for one of these two to win so that they may qualify.

    ANT 1-0 GUY, FT

for Guadalupe to win this game they have to be very physical with the Jamaican strikers...

Guadalupe is playing the Jamaican strikers way too soft...their gonna get caught with high line passes if they keep this up.at the midfield position i think Guadeloupe is playing better but their defenders are giving the Jamaican strikers way too much room to move around. time after time the Jamaican strikers are just running pass Guadalupe's defenders looking for that long ball.

Where is Mickael Antoine-Curier? Why is Collet coming off the bench?

i said it once and I'll say it again Guadeloupe's defenders are playing these Jamaican strikers way too soft. Luton Shelton is just doing whatever he wants.

its time to start making some gattuso/ puyol like tackles and send a message.

"What a comedy of errors for Guadeloupe there!"

2-0 and Jamaica now has Group I wrapped up - thanks to having the head-to-head advantage over A&B, they now await the runner-up from Group H in the semifinals.

    After two games...

    Jamaica 6
    Antigua and Barbuda 3
    Guyana 1 (-1)
    Guadeloupe 1 (-2)

who would have thought Guadalupe would be in danger of not making to the gold cup.

the digicel cup is all about who can play better defense because most of these teams got decent forwards. its about not allowing dumb goals.

I don't think Antigua have it in them to upset Jamaica... I'm hoping Guadeloupe pull out the win over Guyana...

Jamaica and Guadeloupe back to Copa Oro.

ANT play GLP on Wednesday, and GUY play JAM afterwards. ANT can go through merely by sticking 10 men behind the ball and earning a 0-0 with GLP, assuming JAM do not lose to GUY by more than one goal or a one-goal loss involving more than 5 goals. GLP must beat ANT to go through, however.

In the other group GRN are rather safe, for the same reason, only any non-loss result against CUB sends them through regardless of the other game. Plus, CUB has already qualified.

Antigua will be without one of their best players in Justin Cochrane next match as he has gotten two yellow cards this round. Shavar Thomas and Rudy Austin (no surprise there) will also miss the next match for Jamaica. Cuba will perhaps be hit hardest missing Kanier Dranguet, Marcel Hernandez, and Jaime Colome (the latter getting two yellows, the others each getting sent off).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if head-to-head is still the first tiebreaker, then with a 0-0 draw ANT is home and dry. They just beat Guyana today, so should both end up on 4 points after Wednesday, Antigua and Barbuda would move on to the quarterfinals.

Not sure if anyone wants them and I don't think I should post links here, but i have T&T vs Grenada, Martinique vs Cuba, 50th minute on from Antigua and Barbuda vs Guyana, and Jamaica vs Guadeloupe recorded and available for download...let me know if you'd like the links.

It is H2H that is used, so ANT still goes through with a 0-0 draw, regardless of the other result. That makes it even easier for ANT, and much harder for Guadeloupe.
