Evidently Karlsruher SC's German-born '87 captain is the son of an American father who was given up for adoption by his German mother, who was a teen at the time of his birth. The story says he has no relationship with his father.

He has a pretty solid resume. At the time of "his" U20 cycle he was still apparently working up the ladder at Stuttgart, and he got some German YNT games, so maybe it wasn't an option at the time.

Of note, he played in a German YNT game in 2006 (as a sub) that Fab Johnson started at LB.

He recently appeared on "The Martin Wacker Show," as one does. Heeeeeeeeres's Martin!

scored the winner and his 3rd of the season as Karlsruher won 2-0 vs 1860 Munich.

Karlsruher are currently in 2nd place, 5 pts ahead of 3rd place with 3 games to go.

if they get promoted that's 2 Captains in 3rd Liga who get 2BL promotion who are American. Pisot hasn't played 2BL since 2012 too and both are like 32-33 years old.

played full game in a 2-1 win and picked up a yellow in 81st min.

3 pts for the promoted side vs another promoted side.

looks like Carlson, Pisot and Heider should be moved up.

while guys like Gotz and Gaines need to move to the Academy thread.

We don't move players down once they have qualified to move up. Otherwise, there's too much movement back & forth.

not that much movement once a player signs to a new club, he's there for min half a year, that's not a short time. Should be movement during transfer period too, that's normal.

    Gotz is playing RL too.
