I completely agree with this. In years with no Euro or WC tournaments, we should do these overseas summer trips. Commercial revenue is our major weakness, and this is the best way to improve that.

They could go to Mexico, I'm sure Vela would be glad to host a party for the players.

My prediction: Arsenal at Red Bull Arena for the 2011 MLS All Star Game.

Assuming this is the case....does Arsenal America maybe get some tickets for an Arsenal section of fans?

My loyalty has come good, as team green smoked teams yellow and red in China.

    Priceless!!
Thanks for the chance to wander through last years memories.

Saw a interview with AW that leads me to think something European pre season for cup years and then Asia. Somewhere I read Kronke thinks there's more money building support in Asia than NA

Really? Small, division one clubs Man U, Man City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Club America and Chivas Guadalajara all seem to be making out nicely here in the U.S. and Canada.

I saw that report too, and I also heard him say that this Asian tour has been successful and with next season being "light" with internationals that they may return. He obviously doesn't think we will be having too many players going to "Euro 2012" ! I have also heard him say that as long as he is manager, we will be going to B.W. Seems he is not quite totally in charge of the team as he may think.

@goonsquad might be there as well...

Ticket info isn't released until mid May right?

That's correct, and i've heard that Arsenal might not be selling tickets directly.

To be honest I didn't even think about that possibility. I just saw on the PL site that ticket info comes out mid may and I've been waiting on that. I'm stoked though, never been to the far east at all so I'm gonna make a trip out of it & go to Thailand or Vietnam after the Singapore games.

I would recommend Vietnam. Thinking about going myself after the games.

Great thread, it seems there are some pre-season tour veterans here...

I will be in Doha on business around the time of the fixtures, I'm hoping to sneak over for a couple of days to at least take one game in. Singapore is a destination that interests me greatly.

Speaking of BW, I'm guessing camp this year will be the week after Singapore. If so, I think I shot myself in the foot by letting the spousal unit schedule family vacay that week... I actually would have some funds for that. doh
