Can we get rid of this or put it someplace else?

I am talking about the jersey ad between the last post and the "reply" box.

We're testing content recommendations. We will block that "ebay forum"

What's the difference in this case between a "content recommendation" and an ad?

Holy shit! The font in the "content recommendation" box just got huge and now all the posts on the page are center-aligned.

    Freaky.

Can we put it below the reply box? I don't think it is working...I am getting recommendations to the LA Galaxy's 3rd kit.

It did make me lol, though.

I actually just came to complain about this as well. Especially regarding the first "content" recommendation. It has no place on this site.

My bigger concern is that you've added a second ad block.

You mean you're adding more ads.

If you want people to stop using ad-block, this is not the way to go.

    My issue is two-fold:

    1) I'm paying not to see ads of any kind.
    2) The sites in my recommended "content" are either BigSoccer or sites I visited earlier in the day. Therefore they're pointless.

So, the little box is pointless and I'm not supposed to be seeing it in the first place. Not good, Huss.

They're not ads. The "sponsored" ones make a donation to the make a wish foundation. Regardless, I'm turning it off.

I had looked at creditkarma last weekend and got a "suggestion" to go to bankrate.com on the day of the above post.

I'd like to see the ad moved since most of the ads are hover over ads now. Not only do they slow the loading of the page, but they have sound on by default and take over the entire window if the mouse is over the ad long enough. This is really annoying when typing a response and all of a sudden you can't see what you typed. The ads are more intrusive and nearly as annoying as late 90s pop-ups.

These were removed at least a week ago.

I beg to differ. Look at the time/date in the right corner. I saw this reading Dan Loney's blog this morning.

    Thx,

I've seen browser windows with updated versions of Flash crash regularly because of the video Flash ads.

I still don't like the ads that start playing sound. when my cursor goes over top of them when I use pageup/page down. It's not like I'm actively clicking on the ad to start the playback. I thought BigSoccer got rid of these a while ago. And they are in Spanish, too.

    Thx,

    Jay!

I'm against these in any language. I especially don't want to see political ads when I'm at work. Since I visit the site less, they increase my productivity. Not cool.
