The "Florida" forum was dominated by Miami. That's why we got our own. If you really have that big a problem with it, go to the Customer Service forum and ask for the Florida forum to be renamed.

Lucho, you are a passionate Miamian and a more loyal soccer fan, but maybe this isn't the right way to go about getting an Miami specific forum page. Although I do agree with you about Miami having a forum page of it's own, I don't think antagonizing Orlando fans here on their own page is the best approach to getting our own Miami forum page. I'm sure as time goes on and MLS grown there will be more talk about Florida expansion, the Florida forum could be specifically for future MLS expansion team who at this moment may not be seriously considered as MLS candidates as Orlando and Miami both are currently. I'm sure in the future both Orlando and Miami will become great rivalries in MLS. But at the moment we are both still trying to get there, let's help each other to get into the MLS first and then we have plenty of time to establish a great rivalry. With that said, could we have our own Miami forum page now? While we're on this topic, I've also noticed that New York City FC still doesn't have a dedicated forum page of their own, they were announced back in May as the 20th MLS team and the forum page to find them is under New York City.
Ok can we rename this Florida Forum to Miami Forum? Orlando has their own thread, and I don't see why Miami can get their own thread. We've been in a longer push for expansion and we still get our own forum, yet Orlando goes for the chance at an MLS team one time and bam, get their own thread. I want Miami to have their own thread for expansion. Who is with me on this? Miami is also a possible expansion destination and we don't get that respect. Atlanta has one as well as Orlando, now Miami needs one. Soccerprime, please give Miami their own thread for MLS EXPANSION!! Thanks
Well seeing that Orlando got one fairly quickly, i think Miami is well deserved of a forum. I mean we been trying to get a team for the past ten years. they come out the blue and get one off the back? come on prime, I believe a Miami forum would keep the Striker fans of our backs, always bringin their negative feedback to the MIami Mls expansion talk.
Hey it's not me. If you want one, go to the Customer Service forum and the forum request thread. If you can get 10 or more posters who are dedicated Miami contributors to post their allegiance there then the Admins may grant your wish.
Start a thread where I just told you. The only other way is if you represented a supporters group (like Jax did in NASL).

What you ought to be requesting is a new thread for "Miami" under the "Candidate Cities" subpage. There are still other cities in Florida that may attempt to become MLS expansion sites, so removing this entire thread from the likes of Tampa or Jacksonville is not the solution to what you're trying to accomplish. And if BS has stated that a separate "Miami" thread is not doable until some distinct event, then again, renaming this thread is still not your solution. Hope that helps.
I think Lucho's post was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Nonetheless, with MLS focused on developing local rivalries between teams, a little healthy animosity between fanbases may actually help both cities.
