Clubs shouldn't win points, only lose them. The tournament is laughable.

I disagree, the responsibility lies also within the ADFP and FPF who have been unable to create mechanisms to enforce the very same rules they created.

Of course el campeonato is to blame when CNI was within inches to avoid relegation. A club which owes 5 months worth of salaries was going to send to Segunda one of the few who follows the rules and was up to date with all of their obligations (Vallejo).

if they owe 5 months worth of salaries then shouldn't they have gotten 0 points for those 5 months? or did the players do an Alianza and sign planillas anyway

take Alianza Lima for example they owe their players money and therefore should not even be in the final yet their players sign the planilllas when they clearly have no been paid.

the idea is a good one hit the club with points because the team that they put on the field should not be there, therefore they are cheating

therefore the points should go to the team that didn't cheat

this is the first year I recall clubs are actually being hit where it hurts, and i applaud it sure it needs tweaking but the idea is sound

don't sign players you cant afford and you will be ok, its incredibly simple.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions

Taking away points is an idea that makes sense, but it's worthless if clubs can cheat their way out of it by the absurd planillas business(as in the case of alianza).

Now, giving those points to the opponent is plain idiotic.

    Example: Take 3 clubs, X, Y and Z

Y and Z pay in time
X stopped paying in time after say, August

    Y loses to X in July. 3 points X, 0 to Y. Period
Z loses to X in September. But because X's payroll was not up to date, then 3 points go to Z.

Now imagine both Y and Z are fighting relegation. Z would get an extra 3 points thanks to the luck of the draw. and although X's payroll was up to date they get hurt by a third party's shortcomings.

Penalize those who cheat, yes. But please don't give points away to clubs for doing what they were supposed to in the first place!! Not only is it ludicrous but it creates a mess of the tournament
