I saw one website that had greater odds for ES passing and it ruined my whole day. today's my long day of classes so I'm going to miss the game. Frowny face
3 changes from last time. Alejandro Mayorga, LB, starts in place of Ulises Torres, Pablo López, CM, in place of Cordóva, and Diego Aguilar returns to the started XI in place of Magaña. Surprised Eduardo Aguirre retains his spot... He was nonexistent against the nads... Much rather see Zamudio, he tried to make a difference once he was in the pitch #Sub20 ¡Así salimos esta tarde contra @LaSelecta_SLV!Alineación presentada por @Chedrauioficial:#PasiónyOrgullo | #SúperMexicano pic.twitter.com/60lRPW1b8a— Selección Nacional (@miseleccionmx) March 1, 2017
Where the ******** was this Mexican team on Monday? At least we'll definitely qualify for the world cup now

Physicality is this team's kryptonite. They were outmuscled to everything last game... it showed against Honduras and it showed against the US. Now that we're back to playing midgets, this team shines. I know the Mexican demographic is generally a tad shorter but we need to start finding guys without the peak 170cm height of Pablo Lopez, Julio Gomez, Cesar Villaluz, Diego Cortés, Pablo López, Sebastián Córdoba, Eduardo Aguirre, Kevin Lara, Kevin Magaña, Ulises Torres, Diego Aguilar, etc. They all share the same physique and will probably struggle again when they have to play men, not boys.
Or the US had the Mexican dribbler covered with three players and pressed Mexico which forced them to go long ball. By the time Antuna could make a run, there was no one ready for a cross. Though not technically good, Antigua was physical and Mexico toyed with them.
It's the combination of physicality and skill level. In the past WC, Serbia was head and shoulders above Mexico when it comes to anything that deals with physicality and their skill level was similar to Mexico (if not, better). And Serbia dismantled Mexico. It is pretty clear that Mexico suffers against big body dudes with similar skill levels as their own.
I told you before it was my jinx (I'm dead serious not joking) if Real Madrid and Mexico play in the same week only one wins...... And RM crapped it up so Mexico has to win
I don't think it changes what I've said. I take my chances against physical dudes but don't have the near skill level as us but I would be afraid of teams that can combine their physical attributes to their game level. We may see teams like this in the WC if Mexico draws unfavorably.
