He will be a hero in Watford forever. It has been 3 decades since they defeated Man Untied.

I hope he gets more than 7 or 8 minutes a game now.
The manager would be an idiot not to reward him.

    Yup.
He played that in the preseason too. Almost our " Abel" position.

I don't like him there though. Has to play RB for us if he does ever get called up again. (Come on Pekerman.)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't think Zuniga has been a RB at the club level for a couple years now. at napoli, he was primarily a RM/LM or sometimes used a RWB if they were using 3 central defenders. At nacional, i remember him used in a RB capacity...

with the NT, he was used in a RB capacity

    en napoli no jugo
como desde el 2014...entonces no me acuerdo.
rwb using 3 cbs..............never rm or lm in a scheme of 4 defenders.

Even if the guy isn't playing a ton I want him to be called back up, as a back up he's a good guy to have with all his experience and ability to play a couple positions. Besides Fabra is garbage, and Zuniga being able to play both sides is valueable.

We all want to see Zuniga back. But he is JUST starting to settle in a get minutes for his team. Worst thing we could do right now is to separate him from that process. Besides, while I'm not a Fabra fan, he has been performing very well for Boca and is learning how to play that position much better. Let Diaz hold the position for now and let Zuniga pick up some confidence and win the starting spot.

nah relax we can't be calling everyone up because "they're good guys" and because they play 1 or 2 games for 5 minutes.

Not only was that not my quote you also took it horribly out of context. I said good guy to have based on experience and ability. He played well for us when he wasn't getting minutes at his club in the past. I tend to agree to avoid calling up the young guys when they are just breaking in, make them keep working and earn it since its all new and playing for the NT brings a lot of pressure and attention, but long standing veterans who've been a stalwart for multiple WCQ campaigns is completely different.

It's sad to see what happened to him. He shouldn't be in this situation and Armero as well. They had 1-2 good seasons and that's it. They are much better players than that.

Zuniga must have slept with the owner’s daughter to be in the Doghouse for as long as he has been.

Armero’s case is simple - he has no right foot and pace only lasts so long.
