A quick BS search yields nothing on this fellow, but let's start the frenzy:

    Spurs 4-2 Arsenal U18s - John's verdict
Posted by Tottenham Hotspur on 25 November 2013 - 12:00

John McDermott was happy with the second half performance in particular as our Under-18s registered a 4-2 victory over Arsenal at the weekend.

The lads looked strong all over the pitch on Saturday, but John picked out the centre-half pairing of Filip Lesniak and Cameron Carter-Vickers, among others, for praise afterwards.

Lesniak was impressive having dropped into the centre of defence alongside Carter-Vickers, who got himself on the scoresheet with a close range effort to put us 3-1 up.

“I was pleased with Filip Lesniak, who played as a centre-half on Saturday, and I thought Cameron Carter-Vickers was extremely dominant,” John added.

The funny thing is that USSF seems to have scooped BS and most of the reliable sources of youth YAs. He's only mentioned on this site in a couple of England U17 posts as a prospect.

Amazingly, this guy fails to qualify for our U-17 team by a day.

This guy seems really good. Occasionally a dual-national that almost no one knew about pops up at a good club, and he's off the radar pretty quickly, but this guy seems like a really good prospect.

Great find by us soccer! We could always use good defensive prospects. If he's any good call him up for the u-20 qualifiers and get him preliminarily cap-tied!

English Tottenham fans' heads would collectively explode if in a few years their back line consists of two USMNTers

Got this from a Spurs message board

    Cameron Carter Vickers centre back

"A schoolboy who if he asked you for you dinner money you would hand it over. He is probably six foot plus and almost as wide. Much like Maghoma the beginning of the season he was learning his trade but did he progress. Very quick on the ground and decent with the ball at his feet the season he became a lynch pin for the team dominating centre forwards on the whole. He has still got a bit to learn but has so much potential"

With Jonathan Klinsmann on the team, there's a pretty good chance he catches Jurgen's eye, if he hasn't already.

I wonder if his name just popped up during the Yedlin talks. "You know, we've already got an American lad here at Spurs..."

Hmm. His initials are close to CVN, which would have opened a lot of doors for naval references.

Still, I think we can all officially say "WOW" and "Holy Shit!" because this kid has a December 31 birthday. That's enormously rare in the world of elite youth soccer (I must say, it was terribly good tax planning on the part of his mother- you get to claim the deduction for the entire year). He must be really, really good to have consistently overcome the 12 month disadvantage.

A connected COYS Twitter fan said "his mum is English." So that *probably* means his dad is a Yank.

Pretty sure the youth cutoff is July/August. So someone born in December would be slightly older than the average youth player in his group. This is in the states though.
