of course Spurs are able to. The question is whether it’s their policy. OK, I remember his dad, Howard “Hi-C”Carter.
Well given his track record, it won't be long until he falls out with management and ends up quitting, fired, or suspended. Chile, Marseille, Lazio, and Lille.
I think you can say this about pretty much every football manager.. or really any pro sports coach... a tiny minority stay at one place a long time.
True, but some of Bielsa's departures have been beyond routine. Anyway, if CCV ends up at Leeds, I hope it works out well for him and I hope Bielsa's relationship with management is not as challenging as his last two or three stops.
He has a video profile up at ussoccer.com: https://www.ussoccer.com/rising (no direct link) Good footage of him with his dad (who still has a sweet shot) and his mom.
How can you not root for CCV? He has that Terrence Boyd-like positivity, humbleness, pride and glow about him. You get the sense he puts in the work and likes to grind. This is a big, big year for him. I think he will step up to the plate and exceed some expectations.
An even bigger deal? Brandon Austin coming over as well. We need to get that guy into the youth set-up NOW.
I've been told that there are very serious questions about Brandon Austin's eligibility to play for the United States.

How close is this to their first team? From the names I remember it looks like it’s somewhat close. I do hope they’re advertising him and he goes on loan again because he isn’t close to TOT material. I wonder if he has the speed and reaction speed of a TOT level CB, I’m not high on Glad but even Glad is better in both of these categories.
Alderweireld and Vertonghen (along with their England players though none of them are center-backs and Dembele) are still on break I think. Game is on ESPN2 and ESPN3 at 10 eastern.
How? Wasn't his father born in the USVI? If so, he's a US citizen. Unless there's some weirdness with the USVI being its own association, he'd be eligible.
I've discussed the situation in Austin's thread, both from a citizenship & FIFA standpoint (and Austin's father was born in the UK).
With CCV and the centre back position in mind it's far off. He's paired with a left back in Ben Davies. Davinson Sanchez sits on the bench this time, Juan Foyth had to pull out of the tour with injury (will give CCV lot of game time this tournament), while Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld haven't gotten back to pre season after the world cup yet.
