Not the first time on SBI. More and more, their headlines say more than the article and the original article, which is where they got all of their material, is completely different story which they have taken their quotes out of context. I’ve been reading SBI for a long time, but quality continues to decline. I usually skim the article and click on the link to the original and try to forget the SBI headline.

His passing pct wasn't great for a CB but nonetheless finished as the 2nd highest rated player on the field (8.2) - 959838142399500288 is not a valid tweet id

Not much chatter on him from TWTD but got good ratings. Here are the highlights...and if you like CCV do not watch the play at :42 seconds of the video. Ouch... “a solid display from the backline - with Carter-Vickers having his best game for the Blues” Got a 7.5 rating from fans, 3rd best on the team.
Sheffield were aiming for promotion too, that meant some extra pressure. I don't think people expect Ipswich to go up.
Just a personality deal if you ask me. There was added pressure on the coach because he wanted to maintain good terms with Spurs. The report upthread was a bit confusing but it sounded kind of like CCV might have initiated Tottenham getting in touch with the coach and asking whats up? He was not in the coach's plans, so he called Tottenham and they called Ipswich and said send him there. Evidently he is plenty good to walk into a championship side. He has done it twice now. Good for the lad, keep your head and keep working hard.
Good point, his floor seems like a mid-to-upper table Championship regular, and he still has much room for improvement

Carter-Vickers has been excellent so far. Reads the game brilliantly. So smooth. #itfc— Stuart Watson (@Stuart_Watson) February 18, 2018
I'm convinced the reason he left Sheffield is because the coaching staff couldn't guarantee he'd be a starting XI all the time, not because they planned to bench him for good. So Tottenham wanted him to be in a club where he'd be starting all games, or almost. That is a good sign itself, they care about this particular loanee a lot. Basically the opposite of what Schalke is doing with Haji.
Maybe but he's played 13 games mostly as a sub out of 23 possible for a team fighting for promotion. He's 19 and an attacker. He's far from polished but that's not the worst situation. He finds the net a couple times and he see more time.
