I think I posted a tweet here the other day that said he may be able to begin training in May or something like that, so that probably rules out a terrible knee injury.
I agree, but we have depth, we can even absorb the Glad injury, as well, although I think its promising that he's been listed as questionable the last few weeks.
Nice words from Pochettino. Pochettino says these 3 young players will all play more for Spurs' first team next season
On the U-20 threads, there are reports that CCV is training with the team. As bad as the US back line was Monday, there's a reasonable chance that CCV will be playing full matches for the USA soon. That's good news for both club and country.
Is he ready to go now? Saudia Arabia and Senegal are pretty good warmups for some of the heftier competition if the rust doesn't cost us.
I watched the last 30 mins. of the Senegal game while getting ready for work. Can I just say I cannot wait to see a CCV - EPB partnership for a long, long, long time. I would rather see it sooner than later. These two can easily have a partnership for the next 10 years.
They both were immense, weren't they? They were ahead of nearly every play of the game. Both's positioning was amazing. That was really fun to watch.
Their positioning, anticipation, the reading of the game -- everything. They made it appear effortless. It was not. I only saw 30 mins or so but those two were as in sync as a CB pairing I have seen in a US kit. Sign me up. I am drinking the cool-aid.

it astonishes me that we don't have more English or Irish born players capable of playing for us. Same for Italy considering we had thousands of troops in England/Italy for the past few decades. Perhaps I could extend this to Japan and S Korea as well.
