Tottenham making Liverpool's cup ******** up look light weight.

    The penalty incident: http://streamable.com/k7vw5

The first angle I saw made it look like CCV got the ball but the replays clearly show he didn't. The ref made the right call IMO.

yup, thats a penalty, certainly doesnt bode well for CCV's starting chances in the immediate future unless this result is flipped

Actually, I think that's a damn good tackle. Vickers got the ball first and barely made any contact with the player. Though I can still understand why the ref made the call given the angle.

The ball runs out of steam and slows to a halt just as both players reach it. I can't see a touch from either of them until the Wycombe player's trailing leg clips it.

CCV looked culpable on Wycombe's third, but he wasn't the only one and was less so than his counterpart.

I think it was more so Davies' fault, he just got flat-out beat in the air.

I think so too. Plus he had position.

Video is gone. Live it looked clean and with the ref trailing from that angle, tough call. The low angle side replay makes it look like he got ball with his heel but the behind the endline angle doesn't.

CCV got an assist on Son's first goal with a glancing knockdown in the box.

Yeah, when I looked at the video posted above, it looks to me that he was the one to stop the ball. He made contact with the ball first and then maybe a little contact with the other player.

It may have been harsh on the peno, but shouldn't attempt to make that tackle there. He needs to take his chances. It is a big learning curve and it boils down to, does the gaffer see enough to be patient?

It's a good lesson for a young defender to learn.

Must really be frustrating for a CB to be on the bench (although less so than the back-up keeper). There's just such a small chance you actually get to play.

For CCV, at this stage in his career, it's excellent progress. But I bet is still bugs him.

Tottenhams CB's looked pretty bad in the highlights of a 2-0 loss to liverpool...dier especially. might as well play ccv.

Not in the squad for today's Europa League game.

So much for the line of thought that he'd play more once Spurs are in the Europa League.
