Guys and pee. First Archer tells that SJ mom to go piss on Preschool's "business" properties. Now TKyle is planning to use Gatorade for pee storage. No thanks.
I tried organizing an event at the fairgrounds and can tell you on Non Game Days, all food and drink MUST be purchased from the food vendor that works with the State of Ohio. No exceptions. Game Days are different. There is some sort of agreement worked out with the Crew that bypasses that rule but Crew ultimately have the final say on what is allowed tailgating wise (within the rules of Ohio Law). As long as no one is charging for alcohol or food I'm sure they won't care given there were about a dozen food trucks/brewery trucks at the ECF game last year (all handing out their product for free though).
Once we get the Escrow up and running. We should target not only the diehards, but develop a systematic approach to the target demographics for the club. 1. Contact all soccer rec leagues in the state 2. Aggressive Social Media Exposure 3. Schools with soccer programs 4. Sports bars, pubs, and restaurants geared toward a sports atmosphere 5. Youth Clubs and Organizations 6. YMCA's 7. Hispanic Organizations 8. SaveTheCrew Business Partners I'm sure their are plenty of other ideas that we could generate for places to spread the word. Feet on the ground with clipboards and handouts on 2019 Season Ticket Deposit Information would also be highly useful. This could be done at Crew Games, Blue Jacket Games, Clippers Games, Youth Soccer Games throughout Ohio, Malls, Movie Theaters, Grocery Stores. You know basically all the types of places the actually employees should have been going after for years...
Guys and gals, can I respectfully ask everyone to pause on the any specifics on what/how we should do things in this PUBLIC forum. If you wish to discuss ideas and or help, please sign up (PM me) join the effort. I sent want to show our hand to the enemy. I understand the urge to discuss. Feel free to argue the merits of either idea. But I feel the specifics about the how etc. should remain closed. Since they have prove themselves to be inept thus far I don't want to do their homework for them so they can plan how to counter or make things more difficult than they will already be. Thanks.
All I was trying to say is that if PSV are pr*cks and intenionally take away the porta-johns, there will be a problem. Nobody wants to see people relieving themselves in the parking lot.
Point well taken, especially about doing their homework for them. ***(I have especially thought this throughout the 8000 plus posts and in the lawsuit thread)
When I have encountered things I classify as negative information about the cause in my research, it goes in the “not sharing” bin. Earmarked for a later time.
What fresh hell is this? All my BigSoccer email notices go to some spam account I never check. How or why was that included in anything?
A very long time ago, there was a thing called "Heard on The Soccerboards" (BigSoccer's former name) where mods would send posts to be included in a newsletter of sorts, nicknamed HOTS. Eventually, it became Heard On BigSoccer and eventually the option "send me news and updates from staff members" became essentially ads for their shop. This new thing is a bit reminiscent of that. Edit: There is an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of those, FWIW.
I tried to look for some information on the Crew and Mapfre Stadium websites. I wasted my time. I have no answer for you. My gut is "yes," but I have nothing extrinsic to point to.
