Philipp Lienhart, who Caleb replaced in the game yesterday, is out for four weeks, with a partial tear in his left knee. Perhaps Caleb will start tomorrow 940281205844533248 is not a valid tweet id

Two big wins in a row for Freiburg. 18 points looking much better than 12 with one game to go in the first half of the season. Last game before the Winter break is Sat.
Pretty good half-season for Caleb, especially given how little was expected of him, at least on this forum.
I recall Finnbogason was a top scorer in Eredivisie during Jozy's time there. A fellow journeyman who didn't do well in Spain or Greece but seems to be going BEAST MODE in Germany.

Stanko has been ok but he really needs to improve his physical strength. His aerial game also needs some improvement. He's playing at a higher level than MLS but he really isn't that great.
Even though I think we have several others who are ahead of him, he should still get called up and tested with the national team.
Kicker has a feature on "Freiburg's US-Boy." Based on a translate, not sure there is much news, but a nice look in and catch-up. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...el_stanko-streich-und-der-american-dream.html

Just came in for the last two minutes to help seal a 2-1 win over Leipzig. I think maybe (???) he touched the ball once, chasing down a clearance and pushing it into the Leipzig half right at the whistle. So, not much to evaluate him him on, but I guess it's good the coach has enough faith in him to put him out there to hold onto a big win.
And Stanko makes an appearance off the bench against second-placed RB Leipzing. Garbage minutes I'm afraid. He came on at 91 mins and 42 secs, with Freibrug 2-1 up and hanging on. The game ended bang on 93 minutes. He got one touch. I think. Edit: Like @Iargegarlic says, it may nit be much in and of itself, but it is a vote of confidence if the coach puts you in in those circumstances
