Thought keeper humbled that. That was still a lot of time to react to the shot. He may have gone early. I’d have to rewatch it to confirm but that was an odd series.
I watched the game and I was impressed with Stanko. He was playing LCB in a 3 man back line. He was comfortable passing the ball and defended well and made good decisions all game.
It looks like he played today because one of the center backs (Soyuncu) was out with a red card suspension. Probably will not play regularly but good to see he is in position to take advantage if someone gets hurt.
My math is not perfect but that can't be 80%....maybe 60-something? He did look good to me regardless.
Kicker.de ratings: Aufstellung: Schwolow (3,5) - R. Koch (3,5) , Schuster (3) , Stanko (3,5) - (Better than McKennie) P. Stenzel (3) , Höfler (3) , C. Günter (3,5) - Frantz (2,5) - Kapustka (2,5) , Haberer (4) - Petersen (4)
For thew mathematically challenged (like me ) that's an 80.3% pass completion rate. Not really good for an established player, but not too shabby for a debutant.
Article here with Christian Streich (Freiburg's HC) saying "overall [he] did well" http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...l_stanko-und-kapustka_streich-fands-toll.html
