They're still 5 points from safety with only 3 league games left.

Vaduz are almost officially relegated. They have to win both games and hope Lausanne-Sports loses both to avoid the drop.

EDIT: I am wrong. They are going down. Only one game left.

Vaduz was relegated, and Stanko's loan is supposed to expire June 30. So maybe this isn't relevant going forward.

But the club was featured on BBC World Football this week if you find their general story/situation interesting. (Starts at around 20:00

Just found this article that confirms he has left Vaduz. Not sure about his standing with Freiburg though.

Soccerway does not have him on official roster but does show him returning from Vaduz on transfer page

I expect Jurgen to help him get a deal in the 2. Bundesliga. He's a player who's on Jurgen's record from that random cap Stanko got. I'll pull Kaiserslautern out of my butt.

Transfermarkt says his contract ended yesterday. However, according to @holz17 earlier in the thread he signed an extension with Freiburg when he went on loan with Vaduz. So, we'll see!

I didn't realize Freiburg are in Europa League qualifying this year. They will play the winner of Valur Reykjavík (ISL)/Domžale (SVN) in the 3rd qualifying round.

This guy was one of our top u20's (besides yedlin it wasn't great though) before the injury. Getting the minutes into his legs with reall games was probably the best thing for his young career last season, too. He's probably back at the level he was (or better) before the injury.

I like this. Wish I could've used it when I was a bench player on various teams in my younger days! ("Actually, I started the last 10 minutes of the first half and the middle 15 of the second...")

    ;)

Well, the game was 4-30 minute periods... wasn't sure how to convey that he started the 2nd half, but longer. :)
