He's a Polish guy who's been around Portugal for several years. He was at Porto most recently, but basically never played. He played for Setubal a few years back apparently.

 

Not great news, since Caleb started this weekend in what ended up being a 5-0 loss to Benfica. Not sure if any of the goals were his fault, but letting in 5 is never a good sign.

 

Having your CB tossed 8 minutes into the match is usually bad news for the 'keeper.

In two games with Caleb between the sticks Setubal surrender 7 goals (though most were while a man down). In two games since he was replaced Setubal have not allowed any goals.

That's because he's been having a problem with his right knee. He's back practicing with the team now.

Caleb gets his first start in a while in a game at Academica de Coimbra. Unfortunately, Vitoria lose 4-2.

Caleb also started the previous game against Nacional in the league cup. Setubal won 3-1. But he's only been playing because Kieszek has been having an ankle problem. This article says he could be ready for the next game (also in the league cup) against Porto on Wednesday. We can hope not, but it looks like Caleb will probably be back on the bench sooner rather than later.

It's too bad. He has given up a bunch of goals per game, but he also got very little help from his defense.

 

In the last two games, Setubal gave up 4 and 3 goals to Benfica and Porto respectively. Kieszek started both games but players received red cards in both games. The team is in free-fall now, falling to one of the relegation spots.

Patterson-Sewell had 3 starts in the league and 2 in the league cup during his one year stint with Vitória Setúbal.

 

Before anyone starts any rumors, just because he left Victoria for Gil doesn't mean he's gay.
