Believe me man, I respect your opinion which is why I enjoy this back and forth.

Yes, Messi has had a "stacked" attack. But let's also remember even during the not so great years of Portugal, say 08-14, CR had Pepe, Ricardo Carvalho, Nani, Joao Moutinho, Deco, Simao, Coentrao. Not Joe schmos by any extent. He also had Paulo Bento who sucked but Argentina hasn't had a proper manager either.

Theyre both fantastic players and if the other wasn't around would be undisputed best players in the world. But at the same time, having each other pushes them both to even greater things. Lets enjoy it a few more years we have left of the greatest rivarly in sports. (Maybe federer - Nadal is close though!)

“O meu cliente estava a fugir da Juve Leo”

Autor de atropelamento mortal de membro da claque da Fiorentina fala em atropelamento acidental.

    https://www.publico.pt/2017/04/27/sociedade/noticia/o-meu-cliente-estava-a-fugir-da-juve-leo-1770287

Thats his side of the story but if he ran the guy over on purpose I hope he gets a lengthy sentence. i would say it is much more likely a accident.

I feel like i've conquered the sporting world.

    Portugal wins the Euro.
    Benfica wins a Tetra.
The Edmonton Oilers are about to win the Stanley Cup.

I almost feel like nothing matters anymore. My teams are o melhor do mundo.

If he wins the CL this season, would arguably be superior to any of Mourinho's seasons, considering also probably Ligue 1 over PSG.
Not sure Mourinho's ego could take that.

Idk man. Porto back to Back UEFA Cup and Champions League Champions. That's nuts. Especially with a broke Porto side. Ironic thing, is that Monaco was a semi finalist the year Porto won the Champions League. Regardless, you can definitely make that argument about Jardim.

Monaco were more than a semi finalist. They were runner ups

I'm not sure. I remember a young Patrice Evra, Guily, and Real Madrid's Morientes who, iirc, helped knock Madrid out of the Champions league.

No, he was never with Monaco or in the French league. Monaco had a very good team that year. I believe they even had Adebayor on the bench.

Porto was completely stacked though and with 9 pork chops on the starting 11.

lol if you're comparing the two (which YOU are, not me) Messi outplayed CR during the Classico.

Or, you could take today's game for what it's worth, you know, an amazing performance by an amazing player.

    Your call!

You accuse me of comparing the two, and then make a statement right after your accusation and compare the two yourself by saying Messi outplayed CR7 in the classico.

    Cagao.

Let's all just let Messi do his laundry in peace. We're (still) in the CR7 show and it's beautiful.

Outplayed Ronaldo in a game that didn't decide the league title. Must be so tough carving up amazing defenders like Nacho. Meanwhile, Messi no-shows against Juve. Holla at ya boy when Messi scores two consecutive hat tricks in the knock out rounds.
