Greece was not impressive. In fact they've been shit for some time. They had two more red cards today (they've gotta be the most red carded team in Europe) and had it not been for a miraculous double save by their keeper in stoppage time, they would've lost. Well, you might find some (after looking very hard) that maybe would say so, but you always have people like that. What people really make think he's not a "fit" for the team is the fact he's a pure target man and not a footballing striker. We always had strikers that other countries would have killed for, but were not really appreciated for that reason. We had for instance Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, top scorer in England and Spain, but not considered good enough to be a regular player, only played 23 Orange matches. The same for Roy Makaay, top scorer in Spain and Germany and Huntelaar. So no, it has nothing to do with Portugal. Hell, the defenders in Portugal are beasts, so to score there is considered here as an achievement.
