    Sierra Leone vs. Libya - Libya withdrew

    Second legs scheduled for August 4

    Tunisia recently withdrew. Sierra Leone advances to the semi-finals. Let's see if anyone else withdraws by next Sunday.

    Mmm, is it really worth playing those games? :cautious: I predict South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon and Ghana to advance. :p

    no, but when the original draw was made, it was set-up to have a South Africa-Nigeria & Cameroon-Ghana final round. so no surprise here.

    Sierra Leone withdrew due to financial reasons(again). Other three legs are currently on schedule.

    Wow! Was ever Burundi on the women's soccer map? Also, I guess their population is very low compared to South Africa.

    Probably the result can be reverted in the second leg, but it's still impressive...

    This was Burundi's debut in the U-20 tournament. Burundi made their international debut in the 2016 CECAFA tournament. Burundi did not enter the 2018 CAF Women's Cup or the U-17 tournament. It will be a big upset if Burundi advances to the next round.

    It would be quite the upset if both Morocco & Burundi could advance. They'd face each other in the final round. The Burundi upset seems more likely since the second leg of the Morocco-Nigeria series is in Nigeria.
