Mmm, is it really worth playing those games? I predict South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon and Ghana to advance.
no, but when the original draw was made, it was set-up to have a South Africa-Nigeria & Cameroon-Ghana final round. so no surprise here.
Sierra Leone withdrew due to financial reasons(again). Other three legs are currently on schedule. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41847772 SECOND ROUND MATCHES(Nov. 4/5 & 18/19) Burundi vs. South Africa Morocco vs. Nigeria Sierra Leone vs. Cameroon - Sierra Leone w/d Kenya vs. Ghana
Wow! Was ever Burundi on the women's soccer map? Also, I guess their population is very low compared to South Africa. Probably the result can be reverted in the second leg, but it's still impressive...
This was Burundi's debut in the U-20 tournament. Burundi made their international debut in the 2016 CECAFA tournament. Burundi did not enter the 2018 CAF Women's Cup or the U-17 tournament. It will be a big upset if Burundi advances to the next round.
It would be quite the upset if both Morocco & Burundi could advance. They'd face each other in the final round. The Burundi upset seems more likely since the second leg of the Morocco-Nigeria series is in Nigeria.
