A few years back when the Crew were only on Spectrum sports and I had just signed a contract with ATT, I would turn off all notifications on my phone, and wait for around half an hour after crew games ended to watch the game on MLS Live that I paid to subscribe to.

I'm a huge crew fan, and I questioned the sanity of my actions just to get to watch a crew game. I can't imagine more casual fans caught on due to stuff like this.

I could do the antenna for Crew but the Buckeyes are not always local and sometimes on BTN or ESPN so maybe i can subscribe to those for cheap but cable with WiFi is only about 100$-120 with cable .

I still think cable is the best way to go

I'm going with YouTubeTV recording games so I can watch later...and an antenna to watch Crew live.

I also get weird channels like Buzzer on 39-2 which shows Press Your Luck, and COZI on 22-1 that shows Fraizer reruns 24/7..ok it's not 24/7, but it seems like it. There's also an ION Life channel on 51-1 which is basically HGTV style shows. 10-2 shows Star Trek series from 8pm-1am every day which is great when you don't feel like streaming something.

OTA TV is very creative these days

But can you watch all the Buckeye games ?

I’m willing to concede the Bengals gm because most games of not on live tv can be streamed for free on the yahoo sports app

So, rumor has it that the Crew TV deal will be with Fox Sports Ohio:

Not having cable, I'll be very curious what this will mean for me.

It says it will involve FSO. There is no way the entire season will be broadcast on FSO with Reds and Blue Jackets games already scheduled.

Between the FSO app and overflow/alternate channels, there isn't a problem. Even a crummy provider like Spectrum which may not get both FSO feeds on a full-time basis and have enough overflow/alternate channels still provides access to the FSO app.

I highly doubt FSO wants partial rights.

Is IP vanish availble on iOS? What’s the monthly $ on that? I’ve tried Tunnel Bear and couldn’t get espn+ to work.
I agree FSO should be able to handle the extra. On Directv they just add an extra channel when needed.

It's not about FSO handling it...it's the providers (U-Verse, Spectrum, WOW) having the capacity...something TW subscribers couldn't seem to understand last time. They kept thinking FSO was abusing the situation by delaying or whatever.

Do you have to use attena for all local channels kinda like how PlayStation vue doesn’t have all the local channels .

Maybe Hulu does this also but all of them seem cheaper than cable. I’m tempted to switch .

I have a smart Tv and xbox1 & ps4 and i need to save some money the cable is kinda pricey for a bunch of channels you don’t want

It's a new technology that pulls in U-Verse.

I've used IPV on Amazon Fire Stick and got it to work with E+ all the time last season. I haven't used it on iOS (the app is there) so I can't say. It's $10 I think.

I'm waiting to see if there are any streaming blackouts, then jumping to either hulu or youtube.

Yes! Share the details of the new deal, please!

I'm a cord cutter that lives outside last year's 75-mile blackout radius but within the state of Ohio. Can I still watch on ESPN+?

I also live outside the 75 mile radius, but in Ohio. I was a Spectrum customer, but dropped their cable tv this past year (Still have cable internet thought). I thought I might have to subscribe to ESPN+ now that I've cut the cord, but If they do go with FS Ohio, that would be fantastic for me. I cut the cord and went with a Playstation Vue subscription, which carries two FS Ohio feeds, plus gives me access to games on the FS Go app, which I can pull up on my Roku Stick, my Xbox, and my phone.

I can see FSO carrying all of the games. The Cleveland feed is deader than Generalissimo Francisco Franco for most of the season with the Tribe on STO and the Reds on the Cincinnati feed.

They'll finally have something to put on in the summer other than poker and that Jimmy Hanlin golfer guy who is always playing "18 holes" with a female golfer in very form-fitting attire.
