Have you seen him? He looks overweight and out of sorts. Shouldn't have even been on the squad imo.

The second half performance actually wasn't bad. I'm not even mad we lost. If anything, Neymar pissed me off the most. Firmino was also very bad. Also, anybody named Fred should never play for the NT.

Coutinho and Douglas Costa was positives.

I'd be pissed if I were a Santos fan. Robinho can't even see any time while he's a massive loss to them.

This is what Neymar did to get red carded smh. One of his infamous little "headbutts" and then Bacca pushed the crap out of him lmao.

Not really. I guess he's on for a player/coach type of role. Really need to get this forward situation fixed.

Firmino looked too weak. He needs more upper body strength or something.

Probably would be worse if he plays from a Santos perspective. Too many injuries, prolly best to have him just training and not playing since it's long season.

If I had to pick out our best player tonight (everyone was poor), it was Miranda, but that's not saying he was good.

Dani Alves was the best player. Guilit and Juan Pablo agreed.

Guilt on Bein sports must have something against Brazil. That 98 team had a few players from Asian leagues. What's up with him?

I thought Thiago and Miranda did what they were supposed too. I can't blame Jefferson either. Coutinho and Douglas Costa was positive subs. Fernandinho had a better second half. Alves actually didn't do too bad offensively.

    Everyone else

His analysis was right. Neymars the only one who is big time on the squad. The shirts to heavy for the rest of them and when your playing at hoffenheim or guangZhou in China it won't help the situation.

If I could drink alcohol, I would now. Oh well, bola pra frente.

... Would it be evil if I wished for us to be eliminated next game just to have Dunga fired and Micale promoted? :devilish: Nah, it wouldn't happen. Dunga being fired, I mean.

With guys like Tardelli and Fred I'm not sure a new coach would change things.

    This goes deeper than that.

Terrible display honestly. Neymar was pure garbage. His antics was uncalled for and he should get his captains armband taken away from him. Firmino was terrible. Willian was so passive. Fred should never start again. Where was our midfield. Anyway Dunga was bound to lose. Now Neymar is out for 2 games we need to reflect unto Venezuela. If Peru wins tomorrow shit gets crazy. We were to passive in the first half. Where was the attacking we saw with Peru? Anyway congrats to the Colombians. I hope we meet them again in the knockout round.

Indeed, but at least we could get some new ideas in. Maybe accept that we don't have a number 9 and work a way around it.... Try some new players in the midfield, I dunno. Something needs to change before the WC qualifiers start, or I fear it will be too late...

*breathe in* though we really are missing Danilo Luis and Oscar. Shame on me for wanting Coutinho over Oscar in our midfield... Though I think maybe they can work together ( especially if somehow the "Oscar being a CMF" plan comes true, but I doubt it).

I get Tardelli but Fred is such a suspect choice to me. Why doesn't Allan of Udinese get a chance. If we're going the Ukraine route, why didn't Hernanes get called back. Dani Alves must have been in the picture longterm if they called him to Copa. Jefferson and Robinho have also gotten 2nd chances with the Selecao despite their past history so we know age isn't the issue with Dunga. No matter what Dopey says, he came to win this tournament so he should have been more open to his choices.

The lack of actual building towards 2018 is so frustrating to me. We have the pieces, imo, but we aren't taking the steps to get everything ready. And when we decide to concentrate on one tournament, we bring scrubs.

I'm not mad at Neymar for losing it because he's young and has more learning to do!! But do this shit during a friendly , NOT during a tournament that COUNTS!!

Especially when we as a team have a point to prove and Dunga himself has a point to prove his 2nd go around...that his team has the MENTAL STRENGTH not to break down when the going gets tough?!

The pieces are available in other position of the pitch but the CM and Striker position is severely lacking. We could of used a striker today.

that Colombia didn't beat brasil with worse volantes?? Don't get me wrong I wish Brasil had better volantes but often times I feel like people on this forum just use them as constant scapegoats for all that is wrong with the selecao. For everyone's confidence in dunga here, everyone folded after the first 45 and completely lost hope. Yea it was ugly but it wasn't like dunga was going to fold up and not make changes at half. I was fine with the second half performance but dunga can't finish for firmino and Neymar can't carry a team alone. Neymars going to be catching a lot of flack but he is consistently the only one willing to take a risk or make a play. A Brazilian team should be beating people off the dribble , everyone's scared besides him and Alves to take someone 1 on 1. This was a brasileirao style game and the Colombians were better at it.

Striker today for sure... I just feel like the lack of 9 makes Neymar have to do to much. Not trying to make excuses for the man but I'm sure you guys see why he has to do to much at times.
