Another draw without playing particularly well. Hooray? Vargas and Edson were both liabilities. When Paul comes back, that will help but outside back is a concern to me. Renato had a good first half but a weak second. Cecilio's touch and dribbling looked good but his passing was off. Maybe his just needs more minutes to gel. As @azulcremaporvida mentioned in the general thread, everybody looked gassed by around the 80th. The red was obviously bullshit. Good that Ibarguen was able to get some minutes. Hopefully Menez can make the bench next week.
I think it was just a bad game for Edson....although Gallardo was get right by him with ease. Not TOO bad of a result considering this was an away game & everyone was ready to crown Pumas champions... These new players better pan out

Well played and well earned victory at home. Now tied on points for the top of the table. Menez is clearly rusty but good to see him finally get minutes. I think I like William starting over Uribe. I nearly had a heart attack at the start when Marche looked injured.

I wouldn't mind him at one of those clubs because then I wouldn't have to be concerned about conceding goals in those games. I don't care that he plays for the US. I just think he is overpriced, a bit petulant, and generally not very good.

Banos said it in an interview the other day. I agree that we don't really need another forward at this point. If we are still looking for a player, I'd say fullback is a more pressing need.
Piojo says the two forwards they are looking at for the last refuerzo are Colombian and Argentine. Also there are rumors they received an offer for Darwin from MLS.
