They should just sell Aguilar right now. Not only is he basically out for the season, but he will be a marked man for the rest of his career in Liga MX. You can't have a centerback picking up phantom cards all the time because the refs hate him.
So Aguilar gets a year now. Unfortunately it's the right decision. The letter of the law is quite clear and you can't really argue "attempt" when you make contact. Now I especially think they should just get rid of him at this point.
I would've been ok if he got suspended for the rest of the season....but a year? So he won't be able to play until March 2018? I don't know....but again, you can't touch the ref. You can't argue that a severe punishment wasn't going to be fair, if he gets away with it then a bunch of other players will get away with it as well. Send him out on loan to another league so he can stay active....maybe someone would be willing to take him off our hands.
From my understanding, aggression to a ref mandates a year minimum. So once it gets classified as such, there's no wiggle room. FMF tried to get around that by reclassifying it as attempted aggression. But like I said, to me that argument goes out the window as soon as contact is made.

Hell yeah! Party time! There was about a 20 minute stretch in the second half that Pumas controlled, but other than that we outplayed them. Marchesin obviously messed up on the one goal, but he also made a couple point blank stops that made up for it. Cecilio is still really good. Our entire offense flows through him at this point. Depending on what happens in the last game today, we may finish J11 in a liguilla spot. Got to keep working our way up the standings.
As it stands right now. America would be the 1st of 4 semifinalist. pic.twitter.com/k3eqKT3z5Y— Jonny Rico (@Jonyrico) March 19, 2017 lol

Some great fan-made uniform designs. The home is much better than the current home kit. So there's no confusion, these are not actual mock-ups from nike.
