100% amazingly enough. He is pretty good, but I'm always skeptical of any of our youth players. But he deserves the hype from his youth performances. Zé Ricardo just said he's going to be brought up to the professional squad for the Brasileirão. I hope he's handled properly.
You'd think Ze Ricardo is the second coming of Tite with the way the media talks about him. We didn't win the Taca Guanabara or Rio. yet we won the finals. In any other year, we wouldn't be playing the final. I don't see the point of having a Taca Guanabara or Rio if it's virtually meaningless.
The format was trash this year , damn near need a bachelors degree to figure it out especially if you are following other state championships. I give ze a ton of credit tho , one of my main complaints with flamengo managers in the past was lack of evolution from January to the end of the states. Ze has done that and with a pretty deep roster he knows his best 11 which is something that was Always a huge issue. And when he fools around with the lineup , x cap in Maracanã it actually makes sense and works. The standard is set so low I don't blame people for over hyping him.
And the format sucks but beating flu over two legs is something to feel good about. They were one of the better teams I've seen during the states, insanely explosive.
Yeah, Flu is legit. But we caught some breaks. In the first game, Renato Chaves served us up on a platter. And the second goal yesterday came off taking advantage of Flu's desperation. We also didn't see the best Flu over the course of both legs. They were pretty sloppy IMO compared to previous performances and they were missing Scarpa probably more than we miss Diego.

People are finally questioning Zé. I felt like I was the only one standing up talking about how he's overrated. People are complaining about what's been happening since last year. The only difference is it's been compounded by an elimination and mediocre results. If there was a top of the line guy out there, I'd go grab him.
I agree but I'd fear who they'd bring in. Dorival is out there tho lol but I doubt flamengo fans have forgotten that first stint.
