I may predict Guo'an's Main squads for 2005 season now

    GK Yang Shizhuo
FB Yang Pu; Zhang Shuai; Qiu Zhonghui
MF Yang Hao;Tao Wei; Sui Dongliang;Lu Jiang
FW Gao Leilei; Ilic; Xu Yunlong

Shen Xiangfu Changed the formation to 3-4-3, Glad to see Yunlong as a Forward,But we still need more better Attacking players, this squads with 2 Nt player, 2 former NT player and 2u-23 Nt player is not bad, But still need some big change if we want to achieve higher position.

I am wondering where is Chengbo2 these days?

Is the CSL better than those Eastern European leagues, since the good players are all in Western European leagues? Or are these players coming for the money?

Ofcouse Money is the biggest reason that they come to the eastern Asia leagues, I haven't seen any eastern european leagues so I can't tell which is better, But CSL is obviuosly richer than most of the Eastern Etropean leagues

CSL seems to be attracting better and better foreign talent though. Dalian, last year, had Ermin Siljak and Zoran Jankovic, both were national team players. Shenhua has Saul Martinez, a Honduras national team player. It's good to see that CSL is at least not a retirement home for all its foreigners.

CFA made a decision some years before, that the foreigner player in CSL must needs to be a Nt player of their country, or once was a NT player, this rule sounds stupid because if one player only played one match for his country, he is considering as a NT Class player too, But on the other hand, It do have something to do with the quality of the foreigner players

    ESPN to show CSL again?

    http://news.sports.cn/china/chinaa/outfield/2005-01-30/474369.html

They are also considering to show CBA, in the year 1997-2001 Starsports bought the broadcast right of C-league for the foreign area, they showed C-league for 5 seasons with the broadcast fee 50,000 USD/game, about 1.3 million USD a year at that time C-league was showing in Taiwan. Hongkong, Southeast asia and South asia. but Starsports stoped showing it from 2002.

Siemens pulls out of China Super League

    www.chinaview.cn 2005-01-31 15:30:47

BEIJING, Jan. 31 -- German electronics giant Siemens will not continue to sponsor the Chinese Super League following a troubled maiden season.

According to the report from the Titan Sports, Siemens decided to pull out of its major sponsorship of the league in the coming season.

However, the company said that it would extend its cooperation with the national football team.

Siemens only paid the contractual minimum of some 4.0 million euro as the Chinese Super League suffered a bumpy debut with several match boycotts and drug scandals.

Well, I mean countries like Bulgaria and Romania is fairly poor. I don't think they can afford to keep all of their players in their clubs. I don't think we're getting Rooney anytime soon ha ha ha

maybe we can get that 9 year old kid

CFA announces new promotion and relegation system for Division One and Two
    2 February 2005

China - The China Football Association (CFA) has announced a new format for the Division One and Division Two teams promotion and relegation system which will take effect by the end of the year.

Under the new rules, the first and second placed team in Division Two will be automatically promoted to Division One while the third and fourth place team in Division Two will also play-off with the bottom two teams in Division One to decide the remaining two places.

This will make the Division One into a 16-team league next season in 2006. Also, it would be in line with the country’s premier league, the China Super League which would also have 16 teams next season.

i don't think the shenhua background is going to effect anything. I mean, I just looked at the improvement. This is awsome. This is now a reasonable site, much more organized and a clean look. finally, a good job for once from CSL.

What i mean is, It is hard for a Guo'an fans to read Shenhua Shenhua everytime when he opened that site, even it is a English site it has too many Shenhua news that may confused the foreigners, sounds like Shenhua is the most famous Chinese club But it is not true, Shenhua is not that welcomed in CHinese football fans, it is not because they are from Shanghai, the reason is their poor performance in asian affairs like Last years' A3, they've never made into ACL top 8 and people belive Shenhua is a team with no strength and courage. in Chinese fans forums despite those Shenhua fans, I'd say 70% fans hates Shenhua very much :p

I've registed the forums there hope it'll be a busy forum :D

what he meant is that the website is designed by Shenhua so therefore it will be heavily weighted on Shenhua news instead of overall CSL. I was looking around and I don't think that's the case
