Definitely not a good game for either yank. Mckennie may have a hard time cracking the starting 11. He may have to wait for another injury.

And his game was tailored made for the open game. Too bad for him, he could have joined the party and cemented his place in the starting lineup.

Wes is young and appears to have a great manager. I wouldn't worry too much about him.

So who is Bosz' replacement? Dortmund cannot play on the back foot they are built to attack with speed and purpose. Shambolic is too kind of a word.

bringing on zagadou and have him run around trying to put out fires did not work to well. Dortmund not equipped to hold a lead. as for CP, he played both sides of the field and up top. I think he'll sleep well tonite.

An 18 yr defender is never ready to start nor play for a top team in a top league.

They should loan him out so he get some regular minutes that is appropriate for an 18 yr old defender.

He has probably been their best defender this season low bar and all that but, the more experienced defenders have been worse.

Peter Botched....I mean Peter Bosz...has to be canned, right? He changed tactics and formations succumbing to the naysayers who promcliamed he was stuck in his ways. It worked for 45 minutes. It looked genius. The tables shifted and yet stubborn Bosz stuck to his guns and didn’t make adjustments. That was probably the nail in his coffin. Abumayang and Co deserve just as much blame. However, Schalke earned it. They fought and clawed their way back. Todesco was up off his seat, rallying his troops, making the right tactical decisions while his counterpart sat both complacent and then dumbfounded. Schalke will be going places this season.

Schalke is a very decent side and been gaining points steadily....very likely to remain in the top 4.

BVB could be sitting at 7th after this weekend.

I feel bad for everyone who became disinterested with the game, but this was the most entertaining game I've watched in a while.

Also, I'm never really one to fully put the blame on a manager, but the fault is entirely Bosz's today. He made the worst possible subs, while Tedesco's were perfect.

That game sucked in all fronts, though guess it could be chalked up as entertaining.

CP had the 2 nice crosses that helped create 2 goals. But other than that he failed to make much of any impact. I get he was outside mid with 3 man backline forcing him back, but still..

Weston, uggh. Had to be yanked due to the yellow. Tactical switch was needed and couldn’t have been anyone else but him pulled. Hope he learns from that, bad foul at a horrible time.

And the game itself, with 37 fouls called was not fun to watch, IMO. Zero flow, lots of play acting, disappointing.
