It's crying out for fab to come in and unlock the door with some luxury passing. They are yielding a ton of space and we aren't doing enough with it. Hazard in particular has wasted a number of good positions.
So slow to the loose ball. Classic case of one side wanting it more today. Pathetic effort in the second half and city will close the gap tomorrow.
A bit stale. Obviously its a case of "if it aint broke dont fix it" but that isn't going to cut it forever. Cesc should probably start against teams like Burnley. Eden blows hot and cold.. we look really uninspired if he doesn't turn up. Would be interested to see Musonda get some time.
Yeah we looked a step behind after we scored the first goal. Burnley did a fantastic job and we weren't creative enough. A point on the road, especially at Burnley, isn't the worst.
Dyche has Burnley playing to their maximum, I had a feeling they would very committed, I think they deserved the point for their incredible work rate alone. We shouldn't feel too despondent Burnley are very strong at home, I actually thought it would be a sterner test than the Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. We have to keep our commitment levels high - for the next half a dozen or so games in particular.
Looks like Luiz had a procedure done yesterday. Terry is also out injured. I feel the FA Cup against Wolves can feature a back 3 of Zouma, Ake, and if Terry is still out, then I guess Cahill or Az. Cahill had a really poor match yesterday.
Last season, Week 25. We beat Newcastle 5-1 at home and finished the week in 10th place. Costa, Pedro (2), Willian, Traore scored the goals. 1 Leicester City 81 2 Arsenal 71 3 Tottenham Hotspur 70 4 Manchester City 66 5 Manchester United 66 6 Southampton 63 7 West Ham United 62 8 Liverpool 60 9 Stoke City 51 10 Chelsea 50 11 Everton 47 12 Swansea City 47 13 Watford 45 14 West Bromwich Albion 43 15 Crystal Palace 42 16 AFC Bournemouth 42 17 Sunderland 39 18 Newcastle United 37 19 Norwich City 34 20 Aston Villa 17
What did the league table look like this time last year, do you have access to that by any chance? Wonder what the top and bottom looked like by comparison.
