6:30am PST kick off so not too bad but it is on Gold over here in the US (wankers).

Burnley are an average side this season at best and not particularly good at home. Chelsea have been above average and actually have a better PPG away (though that largely reflects the early fixture list).

They can be an awkward side to play but do show signs of capitulation against positive teams. However, in the premier league era we have played at Turf Moor 4 times and never winning (losing 3 of them) so a win here would be a stronger statement than it may first appear.

A draw would be disappointing given how tight the top of the table is right now and every 3 points will be vital come the end of the year and those top 4 spots.

Hazard is a major doubt so will be a real test of character for the team who have yet to silence the doubts that we are largely a one man team at present. I would be surprised to see RLC be rewarded with a start for his hat-trick exploits in the week but would like to see form rewarded with at least a sub appearance.

Just win. I will probably be recovering from a Halloween party but will be up anyway to watch.

We're coming to the part of the schedule where we need all hands on deck. There's about to be a lot of games. Let's see how well Sarri handles his rotations and what he prioritizes.

Hazard is available for selection but I'd keep him on the bench to start.

I don't know, put Morata on the wing or something. Jesus christ he sucks.

Yea I'd prob do the same because we play Derby next and if we could afford to give him two games off that would super clutch.

I think we will see a front 3 of Willian, Morata and Pedro. Depending on the score Hazard comes in.

Idk about Morata on the wing but I'd be very interested in seeing paired with Giroud in a 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2.

... and WHY did Morata get a YC? He didn't try and claim a penalty. He just got tripped in the process of being tackled and fell over.

    FFS!!!

That was a good save by Hart though.

Sorry, running behind I think. I meant the one before where he pulled the ball wide after getting round the defender. It was great movement and a nice touch inside his man but then just fluffed his lines. The one you're talking about was, as you say, just a great save.

Superb from willian. Thoroughly deserved a goal today, has been running and probing all day long, making things happen.

Can safely say the team have stepped up to eden being out. Fine performance today (so far......).
