Well this went in a whole different direction than the first 30 mins suggested. A little luck, a little quality. Harsh on Burnley but eff em.

Tomori at his absolute best there. Superb defending.

Inexperience and skill there from Tomori.
Poor positioning to actually let his man get away.

Growing pains with youngsters is fun...:)
    (Lampard probably doesn't agree)

James doing work there. Love to see that from a fresh sub. The potential of this squad is scary.

    Question.
Do we take Pulisic off so he can play against Manure mid-week..or let him run out the 90, possibly risking injury?

I'd take him off and play him mid-week at this point.

Aye. The good news is the first part is easy enough to fix with time and patience but the second bit is innate. The net result is encouraging.

I think he’s pretty well rested so would continue to let him build momentum. A full 90 would give him a boost.

Of course, Burnley are being fairly agricultural but would let him see out the final whistle and get more playing time with his team mates. Could be fun 30 mins for him to work in some creative moves.

Quiet performance but a good performance from Mount. I like him in midfield. He’s made a lot of good decisions on the ball.. will be a headache for Frank when RLC is back in the fold

You know, it has to be said.

We're actually a fun/good side to watch anymore.
The complete turgid football of Mourinho, separated by scintillating football of Carlo, back to turgid again, and now this....

Reminds me of us mid 80's, led to Nevin, Speedie and Dixon.
    Good times.

Great run by Kovacic. Don’t mind Pulisic going 90, he’s got the younger legs. Burnley are also pretty demoralized at this point, so hopefully we’ll avoid hard fouls.

    Penalty! Or is it....

Technically a penalty, not one I would call, but not a dive either, it can be neither

I’ve missed this game because of a hiking trip, but sounds like we’re kicking ass.

Not quite a Daniel James dive there, but probably the right call.

It was a little rocky earlier on but we stuck in the crampons and now ascending smoothly.

Thing is, he hasn't had a good work out in ages, hate to see him pull a hammy chasing something needlessly.
Looks like lampard is going to run him out though.

There was a push in the back. Didn't need to go over but a 'dive'? Hmmm... that's a bit harsh.

So close to the clean sheet. Kepa could have done better.
