New Jerseys Loew and players Podolski, Schweinsteiger, Mertesacker, Neuville, Lahm and Borowski in pics 1 and 2 and the trainer and just the first three named players in pic 3 present the NT's new jerseys(no relation, of course, to the state of New Jersey in the U.S.)for Euro 2008.
Loew-Klose/Loew Reacts/Loew-Flick Loew watches Miroslav Klose doing his warmup exercises for training in pic 1 and reacts alone in pic 2 and with Hansi Flick in pic 3 to the game situation in a WC qualifier played this past October 15th in Moenchengladbach between Germany and Wales and won by the home side by 1:0.
Prematch/Loew-Hopp/Celebration Loew is shown before the Wales WC qualifier in pic 1, in pic 2 he talks to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's main sponsor Dietmar Hopp during a Hoffenheim home Bundesliga match against HSV this past October 26th(a Sunday)and he is shown celebrating his team's win over Wales with Hansi Flick and others in pic 3.
Celebrations Continue/Press Conference Times Two The celebrations started in pic 3 of the last post continue in pic 1 here and in pics 2 and 3 Loew addresses a press conference in Berlin on the 4th of this month to announce that he has signed a three year contract to serve as the brand ambassador for German travel giant TUI.
Loew Poses/Launches a New Ad Campaign/and Pauses Loew poses for the media in front of a projection that is part of a new ad campaign and whose slogan translates as "You deserved it" in pic 1, holds a press conference for the media to launch the campaign as shown in pic 2 and pauses and looks up during the press conference in pic 3.
Three Run of the Mill Loew Pics My source for all of those pics of Joachim Loew that told a story appears to be tapped out so I'm plugging in whatever else I can find, and here are three such examples.
Another Loew Photo Mishmash Three more miscellaneous Loew pics here. Pic 1 looks like it comes from a Euro 2008 press conference. Pic 3 is probably from the tournament.
Three Small Loew Pics These three Loew pics are physically a lot smaller than what we have been used to but at least they are here - I think - . Pic 1 is another press conference shot, pic 2 shows the NT trainer during training and pic 3 has Loew back before the media with his rebellious team captain Michael Ballack in tow.
Loew-Ballack/Loew-Merkel/Pic 2 Zoomed Out Loew and Michael Ballack show up in the same shot yet again in pic 1 and the trainer gets a hug of consolation from Bundeskanzler Angela Merkel in pic 2 and again in the zoomed out version of pic 2 that is pic 3 here.
Loew-Fan Celebration and on Screen Loew and the NT attend the fan celebration in Berlin for the team immediately following the Euro 2008 final with the Bundestrainer visible on screen in pic 3.
After the Final Whistle/Loew-Kuranyi/Thumbs Up Loew and another official are shown with NT keeper Jens Lehmann shortly after the final whistle of the Euro 2008 championship match in pic 1, in pic 2 Loew gets set to send in Kevin Kuranyi as a substitute in the final and in pic 3 Loew gives the thumbs up sign during a public gathering of some sort(probably the celebration in Berlin the day after the Euro 2008 final).
Loew-Consolation Hug/Walks Past Schweinsteiger/and Consoles Him After the Euro 2008 final: Loew gives a consolation hug to Lukas Podolski in pic 1 and first walks past in pic 2 and then goes back and bends down in pic 3 to console Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Loew-Flick-Ballack/Back To the Camera/Barely in the Shot Public training session in Duesseldorf: Loew discusses matters with Ballack and Flick in pic 1, in pic 2 he can be seen facing away from the camera in the background and in pic 3 he is just in the shot by the right pic edge with his back again to the camera.
A Match in Inclement Weather Loew watches the action and then celebrates the result in an unidentified match in less than perfect weather conditions in these three pics with chief scout Urs Siegenthaler. It turns out that in pic 3 the trainer has a cigarette in his left hand that he lit shortly before the final whistle. I wonder where that would have been allowed.
Pic Continued From the Last Post/Loew's Look Times Two The scene is the same as in pic 3 in the last post with pic 1 here; in pics 2 and 3 Loew is credited in the pic captions with a certain look, whatever that might be.
Loew-Klinsmann/Change of Look-Press Conference Loew gets back together to discuss whatever needs discussing with his old boss Juergen Klinsmann in pic 1 and in pics 2 and 3 he has changed his look for what must be another press conference(in Stuttgart, perhaps?).
Loew's Still Got the Look Apparently the online opinion of how Loew looks hasn't yet changed in these three pics.
Still With That Look Loew still hasn't lost that look, apparently, but whatever golden object he holds in pic 3 has the better and more desirable look in my eyes.
Loew Back To His Old Tricks Loew has the whole gang - Flick to his right, Koepke to his left and Bierhoff behind him - in this pic 1 press conference; in pics 2 and 3 he is back with Austrian NT coach Josef Hickersberger(about whom I have posted as a player with Fortuna Duesseldorf back in the latter 1970s)arguing with the 4th UEFA official which will get both of them sent off for their trouble.
