Kiraly Picture Gallery Sustained Kiraly is the one in gray exercising near the top of this game shot. Three more Kiraly pics in total.
Kiraly Pics Still Go On Game action shots involving Gabor Kiraly. In the last pic he is, I believe, that little irregular gray blob at the far end of the field and to the right of the goal.
Kiraly - I'm Running Out of Post Titles For This Player I'm also running out of suitable pics for Mr. Kiraly.
Jovan Kirovski U.S.A striker Kirovski seems to be a popular subject elsewhere at BigSoccer so I wonder how much I should say about him. Regardless, he played in the Bundesliga for Dortmund from 1996 to 1998. In 1996-97 he made 7 appearances for Borussia and scored once without any bookings to his name; in 1997-98 he played in 13 official league matches without scoring but with a yellow card on his record. He was seriously tall but about 10kgs too light for his height. He was on the Dortmund roster when the club won both the European Champions League and the World Cup club tournament in 1997.
Maik Kischko In the 1993-94 Bundesliga season goalkeeper Kischko played in 32 league games for VfB Leipzig so he clearly was the number one between the posts for that club that year; in 1998-99 he only could manage to put in 2 appearances in the nets for Bochum. For a goalkeeper he was shorter than many and a few kgs overweight at that. He was unable to do enough to prevent the relegations of Leipzig in 1994 and Bochum in 1999.
Richard Kitzbichler Austrian midfielder Kitzbichler played in 7 BL matches for HSV in 2002-03 in which he failed to score while picking up a yellow card. He was smaller(and a few kgs underweight)so he probably played outside.
Dieter Kitzmann Kitzmann played striker(in his first Bundesliga match)and midfield(the rest of the time)for Kaiserslautern from 1981 to November of 1985 and Frankfurt from December of 1985 to late 1987. He was used by the 2 clubs as a fulltimer for 3 seasons, as a parttimer for 1 and as a seldom used reserve for 3(including his last season in the league when he transferred from Frankfurt to second division Union Solingen after only 1 BL appearance that season). His pluses and minuses balanced out evenly in his career total of 104 GPs in the Bundesliga with 8 goals scored and the same number of yellow cards collected. He was not really tall but even for his height he was 5 to 10 kgs underweight.
More Dieter Kitzman Pics(This Time With Frankfurt) Funny(and convenient)how the Kitzmann pics neatly split themselves up into the FCK group and the Eintracht group(the latter of which is what is in this post).
Fred Klaus Klaus played striker for 3 Bundesliga clubs in as many seasons in the league; his stops in the BL included Nuernberg(1985-86), Hamburg SV(1988-89)and Hertha Berlin(1990-91). With 1 season as a parttime player and 2 others as a reserve Klaus was around mostly for depth purposes throughout his Bundesliga career. He played in 29 league games scoring 3 goals and picking up a yellow card. He was on the verge(if that's the right way to say it)of being tall but for his height he was close to 10 kgs too thin. He was unable to do anything to save Hertha from relegation in 1991.
One More Fred Klaus Pic Another Klaus pic, this one from his time with Hertha Berlin, that wouldn't fit in the main post dedicated to him.
Andreas Kleinhansl Kleinhansl played 20 games in midfield for Stuttgarter Kickers in the 1988-89 Bundesliga season in which all he did was to pick up a pair of yellow cards. He was 5 to 10 kgs too thin for his borderline tall height. He was unable to help his club avoid relegation at the end of the season.
A Stray Maik Kiscko Pic I wish I had seen this pic in time to include it in the last Kiscko post but at least I did find it sometime(after seeing a too-small version of this pic earlier).
Michael Klein Romanian midfielder Klein played in the Bundesliga for Uerdingen in 1990-91 and 1992-93. In 1990-91 he made 26 appearances not scoring but getting the yellow card 4 times; in 1992-93 he played in 11 league contests again not scoring and getting shown the yellow card 3 times. With his somewhat smaller build he was a good physical fit in his club's midfield. Despite his best efforts Bayer was unable to avoid being relegated in 1991 but Klein stayed with the club and helped it to regain a spot in the BL in 1992. On February 2nd, while in a training session, he had a fatal heart attack at age 33.
Defender Michael Klein played for Frankfurt from 1989 to 1993. He played for 3 of his 4 Bundesliga seasons as a parttimer and as a reserve in the other campaign. In the 49 total Bundesliga contests in which he took part he did not score while getting booked for a pair of yellow cards.
Matthias Kleinsteiber Kleinsteiber was a backup in goal for Dortmund from 2000 to early in the 2001-02 season(when he went out - presumably on loan - to second division Oberhausen for the remainder of the season); in this time he never got in any appearances in the Bundesliga, having to be content with the number one spot in the Borussia amateur side. He had the size to play his position well but he apparently couldn't find a way to make use of his physical attributes with all the competition he faced just for a spot on the Dortmund roster let alone for playing time.
Re: Michael Klein http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Klein_(Fußballspieler) I know this guy personally, since a good friend of mine grew up in the same village with Michael (their parents were neighbours) in the surroundings of Hermannstadt/Sibiu. Very likeable person and great player (90 games for Romania)! I still can't understand what happened on that 2nd February 1993... RIP Michael.
