I can not see the similarities, as you can see Kimmich is a way more box-to-box minded player, Lahm when on the midfield played a way deeper role on the pitch.
why arent we playing this fast tempo football from the beggining and not when we run out of time like now , the same thing happened vs HSV. Lewandowski has been so bad, he and Muller look like they are competing who can be worse
I think that's moreso a function of usage by the manager. You could probably get Kimmich to play a Lahm-esque 6 role if you wanted to. But Kimmich's almost robotic consistency, his composure, his efficient short passing, and his quieter demeanour are all reminiscent of Lahm IMO.
