we haven't seen 4-2-3-1 yet. I doubt Carlo's gonna pull it out for atleti.

on defence yes, its forced- Alonso yes, Vidal too, but Ancelotti never played that way so think no Robben and als today no Robben no party, maybe one between the very very bad Müller or Lewandowski will be benched, if we'd have a good striker I'd bench beide- :(

guys a little pleasure, can u talk about the game vs those bastards in another thread and then when I'll open the game thread tx?- :)

    --Lahm--Martinez--Boatank--Alaba
    ---------------Alonso
    ------Vidal-------Thiago
    --Kimmich------Muller---Ribery

Moreover its an away game vs Atletico, we dont have to force the play. Let Atletico bring the game to us and we counter them. A draw is fine by me

Hello folks, didn't see the game as I was at my daughter's Parent's Day.

I did read about it and from the posts here, I can only say - Calm the Faccckkk Down.

Bayern are the top standard in the BL and they will get everyone's best match against them. Bayer had lots to chances, but sometimes the bus parked in front of the goal stops them. I see Bayern 3-0 this week @ Atleti as they have no real forward players and only know the sit back approach. Carlo will have them ready to tear them up.

The same A Madrid that we couldn't score a goal against last time we were there and went toe to toe with barca and real?

    3-0 is a little a stretch.

Considering our last coach away record in the big games, I would say 1-1 draw would be an improvement

Great point. Pep simplified it for the wingers by isolating the alleys for them to beat their defender one on one. Coman will have to round his game out more, which is good. Having Ribery back at a high level takes weight off of Coman's shoulders. He can come in late and use his speed to kill opposition.

Thiago has been great acting as the metronome. Consistently moving the ball.

The play does need to improve. Ancelotti has to also figure out how to utilize Muller. Underrated aspects of Pep was getting Muller into dangerous spots while still having Lewy and wingers on the pitch.

No way we play this formation or bench Lewandowski whose been in far better form than Muller. If Muller plays, it's either RW or AM.

I think the lack of rythm and reliance on wing play is more down to heavy rotation of players and a new system. Once they adjust and get comfortable with it we will see better play. I hope we hit top form in the spring instead of the fall this time around. Carlo is rotating like crazy, and I hope that keeps everyone fit and rested later in the season.
