This is why I'm concerned about Leverkusen in the knockout rounds of EL when they face tougher opponents. Some of their matches against Larnaca, Ludogorets and Zurich havent been entirely convincing either

Leverkusen and Schalke are clubs that are chronically mismanaged. They have the talent and resources to compete among the Top 4 every season but often fall short. In terms of players they have they should be doing better than at least Frankfurt, Hoffenheim, Werder, Hertha and Mainz right now.
Lol Ribery Franck Ribéry was involved in an altercation with French TV expert Patrick Guillou after the BVB game. Ribéry has reportedly slapped and insulted Guillou. Despite Uli Hoeneß ruling out winter transfers, Hasan Salihamidzic tells Kicker: 'We always have our eyes open to improve the squad' - According to Kicker, in addition to Alphonso Davies, Bayern might look to sign another player in January, in particular a full back. pic.twitter.com/V5RA7kDPQ9— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 11, 2018
Looks like things are getting even worse for Schalke. Apart from Uth's injury, Embolo just broken his foot and will be out for 3-6 weeks
Ribbery is trash anyways, slaps a guy for calling it, so unprofessional. Looking forward to this has been to get out. Although I prefer Robben from the 2, also time to say goodbye to him too. lol, Kovac is a massive flop confirmed. 1062075400296284161 is not a valid tweet id Oliver Kahn for Bayern. Oliver Kahn on the possibility of replacing Uli Hoeneß as Bayern president: "Everything in its own time..." Its to little to late. You think we will spend the kind of money that is necessary to overhaul this team in one summer? These transfers should have been happening over the past few years. I am especially not excited about Kovac being i charge to oversee this transition. I think he is only holding onto his job because no one is available to replace him.
interesting thing about Oliver Kahn is the guy has an MBA, who knew. https://www.linkedin.com/in/oliver-kahn-mba-21a170112/?originalSubdomain=de
but we're getting Davies from MLS, confirmed to be in 1st team. yeah we need 2 wingers, possible new CBs, another fullback. A DM etc. What something like 5-6 new players. Best way is to at least promote 1-2 players from Academy. Mai seems to be doing well for Bayern II and impressed last season when playing 1BL. Should be given a chance. it's still amazes me how Nagelsmann manages to do well with the resources he has. I made a comment last season at how Kovac's Frankfurt actually crashed towards the end of the season. They only made Europe because they won the Cup, otherwise they didn't deserve it, were so bad. A Bayern team made of kids trashed his Frankfurt 4-1, lol.
As long as Heynckes remains in retirement I don't see this Bayern team as playing particularly close to par all season. It's over the hill and fractured, despite still being talented.
Rudi Völler refused to speak about the future of #Bayer head coach Heiko Herrlich following #B04's latest defeat. In the past Völler has always protected his head coach (kicker).— Manuel Veth (@ManuelVeth) November 11, 2018
Dortmund and Leipzig are among the clubs after Jean-Clair Odibo from Toulouse http://www.fussballtransfers.com/bu...ppchenpreis-bvb-und-rb-haben-angebissen_97484
too much indication that Dortmund will turn into RB Leipzig.Every player they are interested is non German. While RB are just continuing their habits. Dortmund already has 2 Frenchies but that's not enough. Really does seem like every club in Germany will end up having 3 min French players in their squads. othe reports have RB interested in some 24 year old English guy from the Championship (2nd division England).....
Dortmund held talks with Brazilian winger Pedrinho Vertreter des #BVB haben sich im Oktober mit #Pedrinho und dessen Berater sowie Verantwortlichen von Sao Paulo getroffen. Hans-Joachim Watzke: "The Bundesliga this season is just stronger. The era where you could get 90 points in a season is over. But with Bayern, we have to be wary till the very end. They have the champion DNA" [Sky] pic.twitter.com/jFPU77WHGy— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 11, 2018
I'm not sure it is so much that the Bundesliga is stronger as that the top (Bayern) is weaker. But its collective performance in Europe might beg to differ a bit.
RB Leipzig being a crooked club, not surprising news. Football Leaks: RB, PSG & Co. with illegal tricks on transfers of teens Nicolas Kühn (photo) is currently playing for the offspring of Ajax Amsterdam - the Dutch paid € 2 million this summer to RB Leipzig for the services of the German junior national player and former "Millennium" talent. At the age of 15 years Kühn had left Hannover 96 and had moved to Leipzig. According to the revelations of the "NDR", the "Spiegel" and the partners of the European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) based on the "Football Leaks", the Saxons are said to have engaged in a dubious deal with player advisors. Stamped as the biggest storm talent in Germany, tried early on a variety of consultants for the youngster. "Of course, there were always people who spoke to you," said father Yvo Kühn to the "NDR". It is advisers prohibited to earn money with underage players. But the players agents know how to circumvent the rules of the German Football Association (DFB). "The milieu has its own way of addressing," Kühn recalled. Specifically, it is about the agency "Spielerrat". In addition to Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen also RB Leipzig showed great interest in Kühn and sat on their related agency. Father Yvo said he noticed the closeness to the "Red Bulls" and also realized "that the adviser has his own interests and does not represent the player's interests." But that "suddenly there is someone we have not even invited" and "a club consultant hired is absurd. You can also put it more badly: perverted. "However, the agency was very courteous and" pleasant "been. The mails published by "Football Leaks" show that the agency wanted to persuade the mother, who was considered unsuspecting, to offer her a fictitious job offer by changing her son to Leipzig. "... We call it 'back school' ..." was the text to the mother, in which a payment of 25,000 euros a year was proposed for a non-performance work for which the mother had to issue only regular bills. "Spielerrat" should earn money for the mediation. The documents show that the "Red Bulls" have signed a fee agreement with Kühn regarding the consulting firm. "150,000 euros flow when Nic with 17 years in the first team plays," says the papers. A further € 20,000 would get "Spielerrat" accordingly, "somehow & somewhere" [...] means that RB honors us in a coming transfer for the (not) work done. " Both the Leipzig and the advisers deny this misgivings, but in addition do not want to comment on the contracts. "We would like to emphasize that there has never been any payment or other benefits to the Player Broker Agency 'Player Council' (or any other Player Brokerage Company) in connection with the change of player from Nicolas Kühn," said RB on "NDR" Demand With. The agency also denied having received payments. The DFB is currently, despite the prohibition to want to make money with underage players, not in a position to stop such action. "The DFB is not sitting at the table when an association talks to players about contracts," said Markus Hirte, head of DFB Talent Development. There is no legal means for the association. "The DFB is just not the FBI and the federal police." https://www.transfermarkt.de/footba...i-transfers-von-jugendlichen/view/news/323452 I only posted the RB part. The wasteful part is that had Kuhn stayed at H96 he would likely already be part of the 1st team.
