Liverpool are competing with Dortmund for the signing of Basel's Manuel Akanji. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...nkurrenz-fuer-den-bvb-reds-locken-akanji.html
dumb idea anyways, glad that it's been axed. https://www.foxsports.com/soccer/st...in-germany-abandoned-following-protest-122217
Hoffenheim are looking at signing Swiss midfielder Sandro Lauper. http://www.90min.de/posts/5927298-die-tsg-1899-hoffenheim-buhlt-um-schweizer-talent-lauper
Leon Bailey is being linked with Arsenal for a possible £30 million transfer. Most likely he'll stay with Leverkusen at least until the end of the season though IMO. https://www.transfermarkt.de/leon-b...m/154/thread_id/1031537/page/1#anchor_2428546
seems like RB are buying Reece Oxford. really? how is Oxford worth 17-19$M??? http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42504657 seems as dumb as buying Bruma for $13M.
I think it is actually 9$M up front with the rest in add-ons. The add-ons will probably depend on him playing games, results achieved etc and for that to happen he'll need to be developing and playing well. English players come at a premium partly due to home-grown quota rules, so if Oxford develops at all he will easily be worth more then the fee being talked about here, so in many ways it's not a bad investment.
Ryan Kent's loan at Freiburg has been a flop, and is expected to be recalled by Liverpool this January. https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/ryan-kent_7026/kent-vor-dem-abschied-aus-freiburg-234834/
that was a pointless loan, instead of playing their own players from reserves/U19 why call in a player like Kent? Who wouldn't even be at Freiburg next season. this type of loan is a bigger benefit to the sender rather than the one who takes in the kid. I prefer these players get loaned out in the English lower divisions over coming to 1BL. if both Oxford and Kent leave then half of the British kids didn't even last the whole season as was the point of their loan. Then Kaylen Hinds also is flopping which only leaves Sancho who is too young to comment on.
so instead of playing their own youth players. RB are going after this 16 year old Portuguese one for $13M.....same thing for them throwing money at the idea of buying Oxford. And all that money is just based on Embalo's potential, he's only played in youth levels too. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2018/01...for-manchester-united-linked-teenager/362189/ seriously Bayern, RB, and Dortmund are horrendous clubs for youth players, and they are more willing to buy youth from abroad. Even when those players have a year or less of experience to sometimes none. If your spending millions to buy these kids of course they are likely to move ahead of the reserve/youth players. here's hoping they lose the bidding war for the 16 year old.

Dortmund's Alexander Isak being linked with a possible loan move to Mainz. Donis Avdijaj is training on trial at Eredivisie side Roda JC.

AC Milan's sporting director is planning on having a scouting tour to the Bundesliga and observe players such as Meyer, Kehrer, Upamecano and Agustinsson. Last summer they already brought in Calhanoglu and Ricardo Rodriguez. https://www.transfermarkt.de/milan-...hrer-amp-upamecano-im-fokus-/view/news/297582

👏 #BristolCity have completed the loan signing of Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent.Read more 👇 https://t.co/eLe8IDVUJd— Bristol City FC (@BristolCity) January 12, 2018 so 2nd half of the season he's going to the Championship. He honestly should have been sent their from the beginning. Instead of failing to complete his season long transfer at Freiburg by cutting it in half.
Looks like Liverpool are willing to pay the premium for Keita, which will be about 95 Mio euros. Hearing from Leipzig that the #Keïta deal will be about €95 million (not confirmed yet). The deal appears to be done. #LFC— Manuel Veth (@ManuelVeth) January 12, 2018
sheesh, here we are, another game where both Augustin and Bruma are unimpressive. Neither are starters either, Forsberg being out is why Bruma keeps playing and Werner currently being unable to play the full 90 is why Augustin is even starting. l really look forward to see how RB would cope without Sabitzer, Werner, Keita and Forsberg. Keita who scored the only goal so far is leaving soon too. meanwhile Schalke without Goretzka look yet again unimpressive. There is a reason why this team is at 1 win and 4 draws in their last 5 1BL games. Because they are lacking in attack, shame Teuchert isn't even in the squad, I guess to soon for him.
been saying this all season. That there are 4 players that drive RB, when they go missing, team seems to crumble. Marcel Sabitzer (23) deserves more credit than he gets.Really important to Hasenhüttl's system - pressing, final third interplay, chance creation, counter-attacks - and was so last season, not just this season. He's missed 7 games this season - RB Leipzig won 1 of them. 🇦🇹 pic.twitter.com/9DrQGIdFqw— SCOUTED (@scoutedftbl) January 13, 2018
