CSKA Sofia, the Bulgarian giants who were relegated last year to the third division due to debts, won the 3rd division title in ruthless fashion in addition to winning the Bulgarian Cup. The top Bulgarian division expanded from 10 to 14 clubs for the upcoming year and decided to promote CSKA Sofia straight to the first division. Has there even been a case where a club from outside the top two divisions has been promoted straight to the top division?
http://www.rsssf.com/miscellaneous/malagal.html has details about promotions and relegations, but I didn't find anything about a club being promoted two levels at once.
