    Your Etsy is showing. :D

    The only problem I have with the new format that I haven't seen mentioned is that threads are listed with the thread starter's avatar. This is messy-looking and potentially confusing as people change their avatars.

    It's a small problem but it makes me sad to keep seeing Chico's avatar next to the Trayvon Martin thread.

    You're damned right I hate it!

    The faint lines should slant downward from left to right, not upward from left to right.

    What are you people thinking ...

    While the same problems still remain :(, the recent inclusion of Tapatalk has now given me a viable alternative for posting from my smartphone without any problems (at least from what I can tell thus far). :)

    I don't like the avatars either, but funnily enough, the only one I like seeing is Chico's on the aforementioned thread. I didn't know him that well, but he was the first person/regular who has left BS or my other forum that I now know why he's no longer here. It sucks.

    I and others have mentioned it in previous incarnations of this thread. Yes, please remove them.

    And on the topic of avitars, when will animated gifs be animated again? I note that avitars are being stored as .jpgs internally for some reason, even if the original is a gif or png (formats that make more sense for many small simple images).

    One more thing - I don't like that read threads are a smaller font than unread threads, as can be seen below:
    [IMG]

    The one in the middle should just be unbold, not 3 point sizes smaller.

    Now we are starting to get more specific. I've got a couple of those types of things in waiting...

    The viewed thread did start out as being unbolded, but several of us still had difficulty with a quick glance at what was read versus unread. It was annoying.

    That said, I agree that the font size is a bit too small.

    Is the thread migration still on-going? I am wondering so we can determine in BS Chile whether we need to open up a new thread regarding interest in Chilean players abroad.

    Question: is it possible to embed tweets? If not, will that function eventually be added?

    Last time I tried, you had to use code instead of clicking the media icon, but something like this should work.

    While this is a useful post, this post is also why we need neg rep back.

    One thing that is still bothering me is that the date and time of each post is at the bottom of the post, rather than the top. If you want to find a particular spot in a thread timewise, for example of you want to look at all the posts in a thread since last Tuesday or something like that, looking at the date and time of the first post on each page is the way to find out where you are. Doing that requires a lot of scrolling back and forth when the date and time are at the bottom of the post.

    I meant to include this with my last post here...

    Embedding tweets
    Code:
    https://twitter.com/#!/SoccerInsider/status/202940185686720514
    [media=twitter]The numbers go here[/media]
    [media=twitter]202940185686720514[/media]

    Magic happens and...
    202940185686720514 is not a valid tweet id

    You should be able to paste a full link in the media box, but it hasn't been working consistently.
    I don't know why the buttons aren't showing in English for me.

    It is a big deal for me. I'm pretty much avoiding BigSoccer until that gets fixed. I doubt I'm the only one who feels that way.
