Bugs And Suggestions Thread, Part 4 - Hit Me Baby, One More Time

Bug/Suggestions in no particular order, from multiple threads. Some issues have been addressed, but I am putting them all in one place (I think)

1. Multi-quote does not work for more than 1 page
2. When quoting, taken to bottom of page – not efficient for doing multi-quote
3. Single quote only stays in text box when staying on that page
4. When quoting, no link to previous pages of thread
5. No link (or first unread box) to thread at bottom of page to view entire thread
6. Unclear where to select/view watched forums
7. No “who is viewing forum” or “forum mods”
8. More color needed in visuals of BS – looks “a little sad, depressing and very uninviting.”
9. Use of space not efficient – specifically at the top (and notably with polls)
10. Links not opening in a new tab/window
11. BigSoccer supporters forum missing
12. Search function not working on second attempt
13. Search function – allow for box population for a specific forum (such as is done for usernames in conversations)
14. Can you provide a status update on the mobile version?
15. Can you provide an update on the left navigation menu?
16. Changing number of posts per page
17. Embed twitter links
18. It would be nice if BigSoccer remembered which forum categories I had collapsed from one session to the next.
19. Alerts – once it is viewed, all notifications go away. IOW, if a user is alerted for 3 different threads, the alert notification will disappear once one of them has been viewed.
20. Clarify the number of images/smiles in a post
21. Home page, far upper right, it says “howdy soccernutter” with a little person/icon. Is there a way to modify that person/icon?
22. When uploading and avatar, identify dimensions
23. The ability to delete conversations
24. Some users (Val1 in particular) do not have the option to create/change signature – the link does not appear
25. In a conversation, we can invite more. But will we be able to remove participants from our conversation?
26. Clicking on thread title takes people to the first unread post, not the first post of thread
27. Option to not receive notification when watching a forum (like it is possible for watching a thread)
28. “Newest post first” option
29. Bring back the resizable text input boxes
30. Add code for building tables
31. When opening a new tab, list the name of the thread near the reply box/at bottom of page

When I'm quoting a post, if I want to reference any of the previous posts beyond this page, I will have to go to navigation bar, selection the forum I am in with a right click, open in a new tab/window, and then find the thread I am reading. Then, if it is a longer thread, I will have to find the page I am on and navigate from there. In the previous version of BS, right above (or below?) the quote box, there was a little link that allowed the use to view the entire thread. A single click. This needs to return.

The list was both problems and suggestions. But you are talking about "watched threads." I am talking about threads in a forum proper. Nothing to which the user is "watching" but may have visited previously.

Forgot to mention in the list above...several thread still missing. But, I am assuming that this is on going.

 

Not sure how complicated it is to change that time, but I'd guess that it is something that will need to be visited later.

I believe it is already on the, from another thread, which is why it was not included.
