In full disclosure, I was doing a search last night to see if I could find one of these and the goog (that's google for some of you) pointed me back to this thread.

True story.... was having a conversation with someone complaining about the Facebook thing and then go into how they were going to buy a Google phone.

 

Yeah, well, between the two (practical) choices, I'm gonna go for Android every time. Too damn risk-averse to go with whatever successors there are to CyanogenMod at this time (which I can't think of for some damn reason). But I'm definitely going to turn off/avoid as many Google services as humanly possible.

But I get the irony. People really don't want to understand until it's too late, and then they go find the absolute worst/dumbest source to try to understand such that they end up sounding like a total moron. It's depressing sometimes.
