Nothing to be gained by responding to a guy who thinks he is always right and always feels a need to prevaricate.

I am a consultant, blah blah blah. We might actually be impressed if that made any difference.

It just took me a bit longer than usual to realize some people can't be reasoned with.

Was watching Toluca Vs. Chivas and thinking that Brizuela is on fire. The options we have right now in the midfield and in the forwards are fantastic. Comparing 2010 to 2014 is not even a question that we are much better in the attack. Aguirre started Guille in 2010, I'll take Oribe, Cheech, and Pulido over that fool. 2014 Gio is much better than 2010 Gio. The 2010 mid consisted of Torrado, Juarez and Rafa. Right now I think Gullit, Herrera, Brizuela, are all better than those 3 going forward too. Different formation in 2014 but still better right now. The defense was okay, and is still very average. I feel confident in Moreno, and maybe Reyes, that is it.

I'm worried that Piojo will take and play Topo and Maza over Reyes and Moreno...

I'm hopeful that Herrera isn't one to take his boys because he didn't call Jimenez in the convocatoria this coming week. Could be dead wrong though since he said that isn't his final list. How could he not see how bad those two are though?

I thinking our now motto is "the best defense is a good offense" meaning we are going to get scored on but we got to score more goals lol

    pretty much this...

Reyes is playing in Porto B
Rafa is not the same anymore
    Maza is Maza
    Topo is Topo

Moreno is our only consistently good defender

We just gotta make sure we score more

I would say we have more in common with Brazil.

And if we are talking HDI, we are closer to Uruguay than Peru. I don't know what people are bringing up Bolivia for. Peru isn't bad but Bolivia's numbers are terrible and it's not even close. The thing that some people group up Argentina and Uruguay and Peru and Bolivia lead me to believe that people go for cultural implications way too much.

Our attack is on point but we know we are going to be shakey in the defense, hopefully El Piojo realizes sooner rather then later we need to hit the refresh buttom our defense

I've always felt that we had more in common with Colombia over all other south american countries

Based on what? (Just curious honestly) Culture, Historical or Economic views? I still think Brazil is the closest case on the latter and I kind of agree with skadrist in cultural view although parts of Colombia are very similar.

Still I think some people share a biased cultural grouping of countries which is why Argentina and Uruguay keeps constantly grouped every time, why people claim Uruguay has a much higher standard of living than Costa Rica even if they are in the same tier and why people can group Mexico and Peru with one of the poorest nations of the Americas with a historic record of political stability of a sub saharan african nation.

Mainly on my own personal experience with Colombians here in the states. Just seems to me that we have a lot in common culture wise but that's just me.

Historically Mexico and Peru had a similar colonial experience as well as precolonial history. I think that's why most people find it easier to group us with Peru rather than Brazil who had a very different colonial experience and Argentina that was way insignificant when compared to Mexico and Peru..

Although like you mention economically we are closer with Brazil and Argentina.

Having been to Peru, I felt like I was in Mexico when I was there. And like others have said, the history of each country is very alike.
