IDK if it affects the players but in my experience the Green kits bothered me as the grass is green too. In FIFA forget about it. away kits always
We can never get rid of a green kit forever, it's our identity. However I'm not a fan of red socks, I'd rather do white. Also, a full white away kit would be sick, with green/red alternating adidas stripes
https://futbol.radioformula.com.mx/...-osorio-y-federativos-no-van-nada-bien-video/ Incredible.
If the players are really behind Osorio, this could be good. Players and coaches, taking a us against the world/federation type stance. It's situations like this that will be valuable to have Rafa on team.
Reminds me of Obdulio Varela telling the Uruguayan directors to fuck off during the 1950 final. Then again, we don't have an Obdulio Varela.
You do realize the WC isn't for our future, it's for our present. And right now, rafa is more valuable in locker room comparer to what any other player left out of squad can offer on the field
I don't want to get into an argument, if you don't think a strong leader is more valuable to a team compared to the last guy off the bench then I would consider that a mental midget. We will continue to suck because we put so much value in that #23 guy coming that likely would not play anyways. Now if you tell me back in 2006 that lavolpe should have taken a youngGio just for experience, then i'm all for that, but to say a mid 20s guy that would be last off the bench adds more value than Rafa's leadership, then let's agree to disagree.
I love Rafa as much as the next guy. But at what point does he keep someone else from stepping up and assuming that role? The leadership angle is not a great argument.
he should have gone as part of the coaching staff. It's incredible how every world cup Mexico takes people who are way past it.
The dumbest thing about this is that Almeyda will take over after Russia and Pizarro will be his main guy. And we'll go into 2022 hearing nonstop bullshit about how we wasted a spot in 2018 that could've been for RP. And everyone will wash their hands, blame the Colombians, and act like they never sat here talking shit to people like me who will continue to argue that, YES, MOTHERFUC.KERS, Pizarro was snubbed. And in 2022, we will win the World Cup. And I will hate every single one of that you argued for Rafa Marquez in 2018.
Germany's Joshua Kimmich, Antonio Rudiger in bust-up, elbow stuns Julian Draxler #eltrieng https://t.co/bcpZx6rQYu https://t.co/bcpZx6rQYu— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) May 30, 2018
Sure, Pizarro was snubbed but he plays a completely different role with Chivas than he would with the national team. Can't imagine Osorio giving him the same amount of responsibility when he has guys like Lozano, Tecatito, Herrera and Vela on the team.
I hope Almeyda takes over the national team. Mexico will finally have a real coach and not a fitness coach.
