Bring on Germany and Iceland. We have to aspire to beat the best (Germany) or why even fvck with the WC. Also, we put a stop to the cinderella story that is Iceland. I hate underdog stories and how everyone jumps on their cawks.

    Soy envidioso y amargado.

It's like talking about beach football. It's basically another sport.

Luis Garcia called Salcido a top 10 of all time NT player. Thoughts? I kinda agree with him...there was a period there when he was our best player.

He was a hell of a player from 2004 - 2010, after that not so much.

    I think he’s closer to top-20 than top 10.

I've seen a lot of Caucasians-Americans supporting El Tri before.

    Not sure why though lol

I can't speak for all time, but in his prime salcido was like a prime Roy jones jr, a monster. But much like Roy it was sad to see him unable to let go and continue to stink it up under Chepo

I think the tranny incident turned Salcido out... It was all downhill from that point on.

I think I had made this statement before, to this date, defensas como Salcido and Osorio, back in the 2004-2010 era, we have not produced better ones.

Osorio had that terrible mistake, Salcido dragged it too long, so most youngins have this unwarranted hate for both of them, but at their prime, better than anything I have seen since.

Top 10? I don't know. Who was in the list? I recall watching Pardo circa 1994, Atlas - MTY, he was IIRC playing as a lateral, I told my buddy "ese wey es una riata, va a llegar lejos". Unlike Salcido or Osorio, quality players have followed in his role, but still his quality at a young age is to be commended,

I wouldn't put Osorio in Salcido's class. He was very consistent, but Salcido was often the best player on the field even when playing against futbol powers.

Not to mention Rafa at his prime. Losing Chava Carmona and Galindo to suspension was a big blow. Sad because they had a lot of buzz around them IIRC.

Looking back on it that was a solid defense.

    Yup.

Rafa is unquestionable I assume, even by the most ignorant of young fans, hell even USMNT fans vow to his greatness.

Now it's the time to rotate and experiment.
