Already gonna be down there that week so at least going to the USA game. Does ticketmaster Mexico still not let you buy unless you have a Mexican credit card?
Tickets on sale to public!! just bought two club seat tickets. Fyi: I used an American debit card visa that was saved on my ticket master account.
For how much will the Warriors win game 4? Who will be the next Super Bowl Champion? When will we have the fourth season of BoJack Horseman? Will we ever have a third season of Spice and Wolf?
En lo que va del hexagonal, México ha anotado 8 goles, todos por diferentes jugadores: Alanis, Araujo, Chicharo, Chucky, Layún, Rafa, Raúl, Reyes. 4 han sido por defensas centrales.
Pancho Villa's Army. @Wiso @Various Styles I don't get it. Seems too Americanized. Is it geared towards those of us born here who might not speak the best spanish? If so, I guess it makes sense. But shouldn't one aspire to learn to hablar better? It just sounds cheesy. If I went to Mexico, how do I greet people, "quiubole, vengo con la banda de Pancho Villa's Army?" Suena medio raro. But in any case, the more supporter groups, the better we organize moving forward for trips and tournaments abroad.
I understand why they would want to create this pancho villa army however it's cringey as hell especially if you see their posts on Facebook
Few months ago, I'm at a Kings game rocking my Mexico hat and some guy walks up to me, asks if I like Mexican soccer and hands me a business card-sized printout with info on how to join. His English was shitty. Might as well have spoken spanish to me. I don't look white so WTF. My only interaction with them so far.
Agreed, I have referred to them as Pocho Villa's army before. They reminded me of the now defunct Sam's Army. However, I have hung out with them at tail gates and they are a good group of fans. Aside from gordi-guapas they provide tequila, tacos and tamborazo. And they are very welcoming. One thing that is obvious, having been going to Mexico games since the mid 90's at Azteca del Norte, is that Mexico fans are eager to be part of a group and there is much money to be made from this. The founder of the Panchos came to BSMX asking for help and we laughed at him and now he is pimping Mex tickets and getting paid to watch Tricolor games.
Figured as much. I heard they get discounted tickets for all members. Makes me want to "join" just for the discount, and hang with my own circle. A ver que.
