BSMX, I come in peace. What are you guys hearing about this "CONCACAF League of Nations" crap? Is the FMF going to try to fight it? It would be an absolute disaster both competitively and financially for both of our teams, the US, Mexico, and CR need to band together to fight it tooth and nail.
It's a disaster. If they want the smaller nations to play more "meaningful games" then go ahead and do it just for them. Mexico, US, CR should be allowed to schedule anyone they want to play.
Only way I can see it working out for US/Mex and even teams like Panama and Jamaica is if they let us send fringe and youth players with our U-23 coaches to games against minnows while still scheduling friendlies against good SA/African/Asian teams on the same dates. Then it could actually be a win win but if won't fly it's grounds for the big teams to leave CONCACAF
Send some scouts to the canteras that way you dont have to pay 15 million for a player and build him up

Mexico could petition to do this at any time, but they would have to have the approval of Conmebol and Concacaf. That's how Australia joined the AFC. Without approval from both you can't.
