Won't be a problem. Passport # you can edit any time. ( I can edit my guest's passports now)...I can't change guests (yet) though.
People were not updated on their status until after the phase had closed. There were cases with a little lag where people were charged and had not been updated, but it was all done AFTER the phase closed. I didn't have my Dad's number so i just put 12345678 and it saved just fine to allow me to apply for the tickets, i would update it though as soon as possible.
@Y tu mama tambien how are you getting to Yekaterinburg? I can't decide if i wanna bite the bullet on airfare or take the 50 hour train ride.
From Rostov to Yekateriunburg? Probably flying. I'm just waiting for prices to drop. It is still super early (I'm flying after MEXvKOR of course, June 24th or 25 or 26)...so it is more than 6 months aways....so just wait and keep an eye on prices. I have alerts from google.com/flights and kayak. What would be the train plan? The free train? Rostov to Mosco then Yekaterinburg?
You think prices will drop?!? I have a few alerts as well, but not as confident that they'll drop. The train route is either free train back to Moscow and then train or fly it to yekaterinburg. The only problem is that it'd take close to 50 hours if you did the whole thing by train. Any thoughts on driving?? From what I've read so far it's not the best, but I'm thinking from Yekaterinburg to Kazan for a game and then on to Samara for the 4th game may be doable.
Was just about to tell you. I already booked SVX to Moscow and Moscow to Rostov. Even Rostov to Yekaterinburg are only $127. But I do want to take the train. So I will take train from Rostov back to Moscow (1 day) ...then either train to Yekaterinburg or fly. I think fly... I don't trust the Russian trains to be on time.
So.. I don't know if you have noticed...but a lot of airlines don't release their flight stuff until 6 months ahead. That is how I get my cheap tix to MEX
If you didn't buy them then ... then you'll just have to wait. They'll come down a bit again. I got round trip from Chicago to Moscow via Vienna for $950 I think. (No direct flights from Chicago)
Everything on Travelocity and expedia is sold out. Getting flight/hotel to natal/Fortaleza 3 months prior was no problem. This is nuts, maybe because its still 6 months away?
Probably. Though def check back later. I booked all my stays....but I can cancel any time at no charge....now that I have most of my flights set I will move the lodging parts around a bit.
I opted to fly. booked round trip from Moscow to Rostov so i can get back and check out Moscow things. Definitely flying to Yekaterinburg, just not sure if flying day of the sweden game or the night before. There's a game in Moscow the day before, but not sure if i wanna risk it and fly again ON gameday. Definitely want to take a train as well at some point, just not sure about those super long runs, haha.
When did yours leave Russia? Mine left Moscow (I think) on Jan 10th. Released from Russia 10 January 2018, 07:39 102972, Sharapovo
I put it in Dec 12th got the email and text it was accepted Dec 13th. Got to Russian Customs Dec 24th Got to US JFK Dec 31st Delivered Jan 18th. The back has a lot more info similar to a standard Visa.
Once you see it's released from Russia and gets to the US, you can track it through USPS via the RO number. Mine didn't update until after it had been delivered. Also, you'll need to sign for it or have someone available at the address.
I would not be to concerned about actually receiving the fan ID. If the same process as confederations cup is followed they will send you a pdf version you can print and use to travel to Rusia. Once as soon as you get off the plane Fan ID booths were available to pick up your actual Id.
Those of you who have ticket confirmations. Will the tickets be mailed to you at your home address? Or Do you need to pick them up in Russia? Also when will they be mailed? In Brazil i picked them up at a ticketing center.
