I never checked to look. Do we have a star on our uniform for that? Do the U17s have a star (now two?)?

the nads have 3 stars in their logo, why? only they know, and the Uruguayans have four, cuz they count the 1924 and 28 olympic gold medals as world cups as well.

 

2 for the women and 1 for when they beat the world champions Italy 1-1

 

i really hope we get to face Uruguay in the CC

Is it just me...or does any one else feel we are going to get our asses kicked in the tournament? Brazil, Italy, Spain, and Uruguay. Unless we get drawn in a group with only one of those teams, I don't see us getting out of our group. We better hope we draw Tahiti and pray on GD points.

 

We are gonna be in a group with at least two of those since FIFA is going to split them, we can play with Uruguay and possibly Italy, but Italy will probably land in Brazil's group and Tahiti I would think we want to be the fourth team in that group.

 

My dream group:
Italy: We always play well against them. We beat them last time, and we always outplay them in group stages. At minimum we tie against them, but we should expect to pummel them.
Uruguay: We're gonna be hungry for revenge. We're gonna make them our bitch once again, like in the 3-1 from 2007. They didn't play our real team at copa america or even at the world cup (without Osorio/Conejo/Franco/Cuauh). Our rebuilt team should smack them around.
Tahiti: Pfft, piece of cake.

The opposite:
Brasil: We usually beat them in group stages (CC/CA), but they're at home this time.
Spain: Well, you saw what they did today. Also we've never beaten them. On the upside, we're much faster than Italy/France and have better forwards than Portugal.
African team/Japan: They're very tricky giant killing teams. Beatable.. just very tricky. Japan have the speed and African teams have the strength plus all those players in France/EPL.

 

Can't wait for the Confederation's Cup to start.

I know Spain had a special Euro tagline on their kit for 2012. I think we should have one honoring 1999.
