thanks for answering all the questions! I myself became a huge Korean soccer fan during the 2002 WC. Chemist9116, I wouldn't worry to much about what Mehstar said. if he wants to compare you supporting Ulsan to me supporting Korea, then I guess he'd throw me in the bandwagon category. I probably wouldn't have supported Korea the way I do now if they didn't perform the way they did in 2002. Now I support them in both high times and low times.
That's okay, i wrote that just as means to be more specific about the word. Thanks i appreciate that. I think im not the only non korean to support korea. I have read through this thread and some other nationalities have also expressed their support to KNT. Funny animation, where i come from we often use a phrase for this, 'El futbol es asi', roughly translated as, 'Things like this happen in soccer' as means of comforting somebody when his or her team is not displaying well. As a side note, I hope this kind of mess doesn't happen on the WC (in the match vs Belgium, watch out for Hazard, he's on positive streak) not too long ago i saw that Chelsea match vs Atletico and it gave me that impression alongside goalie Courtois. Yeah, that's what i was talking about!. To be honest i dont take it too seriously, people write all kinds of stuff on social media as on real life, i guess surviving through university has taught me this so im used to. Also he said it was a joke so why bother?. So far i find this place friendly and that's it.
Does anyone else wonder where previous BSK regulars have disappeared off to? For instance, some have not logged in for a couple of years.
Large number get red carded off Either due to prior or due to lost credentials, many come back in new disguises Many only come around during WC. As life gets busier (wives/children/jobs), some just lurk now or just don't even bother especially at the rough morning times for much football action for those of us in the states.

I joined Tiki-Taka immediately after but I rarely go on there anymore.
Hi guys, I've been lurking Bigsoccer Korea ever since London 2012 Summer Olympics Football tournament. After many years, I've finally decided to join the forum. I hope I'm welcomed here and that I can contribute too. Name: Chook90 (helps if you read the numbers in Korean) Ethnicity: Korean Hometown: Seoul, Republic of Korea Current Location: somewhere outside of South Korea Hobbies and interests: Playing Fifa, reading about economics (basic and Austrian school) and history, watching films, listening to music, and following sports. Favorite Teams: Borussia Dortmund (I don't deserve to call myself a BVB supporter, but around 2011 this club was the thing that pulled me into the world of club soccer); I also like almost all K league teams. If had to pick one, I'd choose FC Seoul (and I'm generally aware of the antagonism K league fans have toward FC Seoul fans, but I'm from the area where the club is based). Other than FCS, I respect Jeonbuk for their investments and vision, Poahng Steelers for their youth academy (and the beautiful plays under Hwang), and Suwon Bluewings for their marketing department and local interest. I'm really excited about Seoul E-Land fc. I like Martin Rennie's vision and hope that he and the club administration can change professional soccer and other sports in Korea. Favorite Non-soccer Teams: I don't really follow other sports, but I respect American Minor League Baseball and the Major League Baseball. Name 3 people (living or dead) you would like to have dinner with: Milton Friedman, Thomas Jefferson, and Adam Smith. Favorite Korean food: I can't think of one right now, but at this moment I would say 경주빵 Position in BSK starting 11: The "virtually-unknown-before first callup" central midfielder with great vision and passing techniques. Can score some goals too. Likes to play the "10" role, but when the team calls, can play anywhere in attacking midfield or deeper centrally.
I've read the BSK posting guidelines and rules, and I hope this is the right place to ask these questions: 1. How do you "rep" someone's post? I see the "report" button, etc. but I cannot find a "rep" button. 2. Does "PM" mean "personal message"? If so, how do you do that? I've tried looking for ways to send messages, but I do not know how to do it. Thanks in advance for spending time considering my question (if anyone reads this haha).
think the rep will show up after few days next to the quote section yes, pm means private message and when you click on the member name or prof pic a bubble like thing will show up there you see the option to start a conversation
