Marquette's Ciesiulka playing with Swedish club Gimo IF FK 05/23/2014, 6:45pm CDT By ERIC ANDERSON Bryan Ciesiulka (Marquette) is continuing his playing career in Sweden. The midfielder, who spent time in training camp with the Chicago Fire after being selected in January's Major League Soccer SuperDraft, signed with Gimo IF FK. The club plays in the Upplands Fotbollförbund Division 4 league, which is part of the sixth tier of Swedish soccer. The division includes 38 sections of amateur leagues across the country. Ciesiulka has started all four matches for Gimo (1-3-0), which is in eighth place in its 12-team league. He's been an integral part of the team's attack, scoring two of their five goals and assisting on at least one other goal. The 22-year-old Ciesiulka had nine goals and 17 assists in 69 appearances for the Golden Eagles, and was taken by the Fire in the fourth round of the SuperDraft (No. 75 overall) – he played for the club's youth academy, Super-20 and Premier Development League teams. Last month, Ciesiulka played all 90 minutes in a match with the Under-21 team from Syrianska FC, which is playing in the second-division Superettan this year after being relegated from the top-tier Allsvenskan last season. http://www.wisconsinsoccercentral.com/news_article/show/389189?referrer_id=786603 Came all the way to Sweden and end up playing @UW_MSoccer in a friendly. Think you mean Bryan, not Eric, in the thread title... http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/two-americans-with-sigma-olomouc.1984367/#post-30585346 http://www.gomarquette.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/bryan_ciesiulka_708372.html
I did actually post about him earlier but it might have been a bit too well hidden in the "Two Americans with Sigma Olomouc"-thread.
